Tuesday’s Football Tips: Bayern Munich’s King Kane out to shoot down Champions League favourites Real Madrid

The Champions League semi-finals kick off on Tuesday and the bookies are banking on Real Madrid brushing off Bayern Munich before lifting the trophy for a 15th time.

Carlo Ancelotti's men are 7/5 favourites (Bet365) to rule Europe once more and that's no real surprise given they've won this tournament an incredible five times in the last decade.

But Bayern Munich won't be pushovers after showing they can still rise to the big occasion by knocking out in-form Arsenal in the quarter-finals.

Thomas Tuchel's men are no longer kings of Germany after losing their crown to Bayer Leverkusen but the Bayern boss can still end his reign on a high by repeating his success with Chelsea three years ago.

Although Real Madrid are 8/15 hot favourites (Betfair) to go through, they are 19/10 outsiders (Coral) for the first leg in Germany, with Bayern Munich 6/4 favourites (Betfred) to win on the night.

Tuchel has a few injury worries, while Ancelotti is only without keeper Thibaut Courtois, defender David Alaba and suspended right-back Dani Carvajal, so I fancy Real Madrid to get some joy in Germany.

Vinicius Junior is always the biggest threat for the Spanish giants, and the Brazilian winger looks good at 6/5 with Paddy Power to either score or assist.

Bayern Munich will be hanging their hat on Harry Kane, and the England captain looks good at 13/10 (Unibet) to have over 1.5 shots on target.

I can see the first leg being quite close, and McBookie prices a one-goal winning margin for either side at 13/10.

Coventry City vs Ipswich Town: Top Betting Tips

There's a massive game in the EFL Championship on Tuesday as Ipswich Town look to take a massive stride towards automatic promotion with a win away to Coventry City.

The Tractor Boys are chasing back-to-back promotions as they bid to return to the Premier League for the first time in two decades. They could only draw 3-3 with Hull City at the weekend, which stopped them from moving above Leeds United into second.

But this is Ipswich's game in hand, and if they come out on top, they would sit three points ahead of Leeds heading into the final game of the season.
