Tuesday’s football tips: Atletico ace Sorloth 11/8 for over 1.5 shots on target against sorry Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur could hardly be in worse shape heading into tonight's UEFA Champions League last-16 clash with Atletico Madrid in Spain.

Spurs have lost five games in a row to make Premier League relegation a distinct possible and fans already seem to have turned on Igor Tudor just three matches into his reign.

So a trip to the Wanda Metropolitano tonight looks fraught with danger, given Atletico Madrid have won four of their last five in all competitions.

Atletico romped to a 4-1 home win over Club Brugge in the Champions League play-offs so it's no surprise to see them as 8/15 hot favourites with Bet365 tonight.

I'd imagine Tudor will set up to frustrate tonight as a heavy defeat would crank up the pressure on him so early into his reign.

But Diego Simeone's side have scored 15 times across their last four at the Metropolitano so combining an Atletico win with over 2.5 strikes could be the shout at 6/5 with Bet365.

Towering Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth has been on fire of late, scoring seven times in Atletico's last three at home. He's just 10/11 at Bet365 for a goal tonight but over 1.5 efforts on target offers more value at 11/8.

Galatasaray vs Liverpool

Liverpool will be out for revenge in Istanbul tonight after their group-stage loss to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.

The Reds crashed 1-0 in Turkey back in September and that came at the start of a horrendous run that saw them lose nine times in 12 games.

Things have stabilised since then but Arne Slot's side still look vulnerable in defence, as witnessed by their recent 2-1 loss at Molineux in the Premier League.

So I fancy Galatasaray to get a bit of joy tonight but combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals only pays 8/11 with Bet365.

Newcastle United vs Barcelona

Newcastle United are another Premier League team looking to avenge a Champions League group-stage loss tonight as Barcelona head back to St James' Park.

The Catalans won 2-1 on Matchday One in Newcastle, with Marcus Rashford marking his return to England with a match-winning double.

Newcastle recovered from that early blow to reach the knockout stages and routed Qarabag in the play-offs to line up this rematch.

But they head into this match off the back of a draining double-header with the Manchester clubs and Bet365 make the Magpies 19/10 outsiders.
