West Bromwich Albion were rock bottom when Spaniard Carlos Corberan lost his first game in charge. Seven games later and they could put themselves within touching distance of the play-offs with a win over Preston.
The turnaround in the Baggies fortunes has been remarkable. Six wins in their last seven games has seen them climb to mid-table and just three points off the top six.
A 2-0 win at Bristol City got things back on track after a defeat at Coventry and there's no reason to believe they won't add another three points tonight against a Preston side who have lost three of their last four.
Corberon appears to be getting the best out a talented squad and has options off the bench that other Championship clubs don't. That should stand him in good stead as he targets those play-off positions. It's 3/4 for a home win at The Hawthorns, and ordinarily we'd look to boost that by adding goals but the Baggies have been pretty solid defensively so one-goal might be enough to claim the win.
In-form Sunderland look a tempting price at 17/10 to win at Wigan. The Black Cats are another side sniffing around those play-off positions and boast a pretty impressive record on the road (W5 D3 L4). Hosts Wigan have the worst home record in teh Championship, picking up just nine points from a possible 36.
Elsewhere there could be goals at Blackburn v Middlesbrough. Rovers are going through a sticky patch at the moment but have scored in their last four, despite losing three of them. Boro are in good shape under Michael Carrick. They've won five of their last seven and only the top two in the table have scored more goals than them. Over 2.5 Goals pays 11/10.

Leicester lost heavily at home against Newcastle in the last round and their defending was absolutely shambolic the goals they conceded were gifts and if they don’t sort it out then this game could be a cricket score.Nunez is absolutely unplayable at times yes he has missed good chances but he’s still young and learning his trade but make no mistake he’s going to be a superstar no defender wants to play against this guy.Salah is also a big threat as we know so Leicester are going to need an out-ball and we know Liverpool play a very high line so you would expect them to get caught out at some point but that’s the way Klopp plays its called risk and reward,if Nunez has his shooting boots on then there’s absolutely no reason to doubt goals here and plenty of them.
