The last 16 of the EFL Cup comes to a climax tonight with an intriguing clash between Everton and Newcastle United on Merseyside.
While many Premier League clubs field shadow sides in this competition, I'd imagine these two will see it as a great chance to get some silverware.
Everton haven't won a major trophy since 1995 whille Newcastle's EFL Cup triumph in 2025 ended a 56-year drought so both teams will have plenty of motivation tonight.
Everton vs Newcastle United top betting tips
Everton started the season with an eight-game unbeaten run but they've taken just a point from their last three Premier League games after successive defeats to Chelsea and Arsenal.
Newcastle's recent form also hasn't been great, with three defeats in their last five, but they boosted morale with a 2-0 weekend win at Crystal Palace.
Bet365 make David Moyes' men 4/6 favourites to qualify with home advantage but this looks like a 50/50 game for me. So the 11/10 on offer for Newcastle in the same market seems decent value.
Only one of Everton's home games has hit double figures for corners this season and that makes under 10 flag kicks another good option at evens with Bet365.
Fiorentina vs Atalanta
Fiorentina find themselves in the Serie A drop zone and desperately need three points when Atalanta come calling tonight.
La Viola found themselves in a relegation fight for most of last season before eventually finishing in 15th place.
They're in trouble again and now sit second bottom of Italy's top flight after losing three games in a row.
Atalanta's recent form is also poor, with two defeats and a draw in their last three outings in all competitions.
Their last Serie A game was a thrilling 4-4 draw with Frosinone so it's hard to know what to expect from the Bergamo outfit.
I'm surprised to see Atalanta as big as 2/1 with Bet365 given Fiorentina's troubles and I'm backing the visitors to win either half at 5/6.
We should see goals at both ends based on Atalanta's recent matches and backing BTTS in the second half pays 7/4.
Frosinone vs Lecce
Frosinone have been the Serie A surprise package after winning promotion and sit sixth in the table as they host struggling Lecce tonight.
The new boys have lost just two of their eight games so far and will fancy their chances of claiming a fifth win against a team in the bottom half of the table.
Lecce have lost three of their last four so it's no great surprise to see them as big as 4/1 with Bet365.
But Frosinone have conceded nine times across their last three matches so that will give the strugglers some belief heading into this one.
Combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals pays just 4/6 for this one but over 1.5 first-half goals is better at evens with Bet365.
Antonio Raimondo has been Frosinone's main man so far, with the striker netting eight times, and he's 10/11 for another goal tonight.
