Perhaps we should have Serie A matches more often during the week, because the fixtures so far this round have been phenomenal.

There are still two matches left on Thursday, which also promise plenty of action. Frosinone will be looking to extend their home run against Lecce, whilst Fiorentina will be aiming to climb out of the relegation zone when they host Atalanta.

Find our expert tips and predictions for all Serie A matches on Thursday below.

Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions

Frosinone vs. Lecce (5:30pm)

If we set aside Lazio’s title charge, Frosinone are the other team that has been causing a stir since the start of the season. The newcomers are in the top six and are in superb scoring form. Only the top three teams have scored more goals than them so far.

Defence remains a problem, however, and they almost always concede a goal – and often more than one. Against Lecce, they may feel a bit more at ease, as the visitors are among the lowest-scoring teams.

Poor results will come sooner or later, but at home Frosinone look genuinely dangerous and, in my view, the far more inconsistent Lecce are in for a tough away trip.

Frosinone vs. Lecce top betting tip: Frosinone to win

Fiorentina vs. Atalanta (7:45pm)

Although six points separate them after eight rounds, Fiorentina and Atalanta have faced similar problems in recent weeks – conceding far too many goals.

Fiorentina, for example, have conceded five in their last two matches. Atalanta have conceded as many as seven in their last two. The positive thing about both teams is that they never sit back and they score goals too.

Atalanta have had serious problems away from home since the start of the season, which is why I reckon La Viola will have their chances. I’m not sure if we’ll see at least three goals, but I certainly reckon there’ll be at least one goal at each end.
