As ever after the first legs in European competition a few clubs have one foot in the next round but for others there’s a mountain climb.
Braga fall in to the latter category after a 4-2 defeat at home to Qarabag last week. A 6,000km trip to Azerbaijan doesn’t make their task any easier but the bookies still make them 13/10 favourites to win on the Caspian Sea tonight.
But Qarabag, with their troupe of Brazilians and Frenchmen earned enough respect last week to suggest they could be a bit of value on home soil at 19/10.
After coming through two qualifying rounds they finished second in Group H behind all-conquering Bayer Leverkusen and although a win isn’t required tonight they punished the Portuguese last week and can take advantage of their visitors having to go for the win tonight.
Feyenoord didn’t travel well in the Champions League, losing all three away games at Atletico, Celtic and Lazio and they face a tough trip back to the Eternal City tonight.
Romelu Lukaku earned Roma a draw in Rotterdam and the Italians look well priced at 23/20 to get the job done this evening.
In the Europa Conference League Molde allowed Legia Warsaw back in to the tie and face a tough trip to the Polish capital tonight. The Norwegians looked to be cruising after going 3-0 up inside 25 minutes but they struggled in the second half, conceding twice to leave the tie finely poised at 3-2.
Legia are 21/20 to get the win they need to at least stay in the competition and it could be another match laden with goals. Over 2.5 pays 3/4 whilst over 3.5 is appealing at 7/4.
Bodo/Glimt didn’t let us down on the goals front last week either. Like their Eliteserien counterparts they led 2-0 away to Ajax but were reduced to 10 men and conceded two injury-time goals to hand the advantage back to the Dutchmen.
It should be an epic encounter in the Arctic Circle tonight when Over 2.5 goals is just 2/5. Doubling that with Over 2.5 in Warsaw pays 29/20.
Dinamo Zagreb look overpriced at 2/1 to beat Real Betis again. The Croatians sneaked a 1-0 win in Seville last week, their first every in Spain.
The Spaniards were described as undercooked and negative by the Spanish press so will need to show some more fire tonight but they’ve already lost away to Rangers and Sparta Prague this season and barely merit being 13/10 faves this evening.

Bodo/Glimt v Ajax 17:45
BTTS and 50+ booking points 11/10 Sky
Ajax’s last 15 match in all comps have seen BTTS. Greek ref in charge of tonight’s game shows an average of 6.3 cards a game. He dished out 11 bookings in his last Europa League Conference game. First leg saw 55 booking pts (including a red).
Toulouse v Benfica 17:45
1+ Toulouse goal and 20+ Toulouse booking points 3/4 Sky so 2.7/1 double
Benfica haven’t kept a clean sheet in Europe this season. Toulouse have found the back of the net in seven of last eight games and scored in first leg. Toulouse have registered multiple booking in 12/13 games. They received six yellows and a red in first game.
