Unlike the other top leagues, Serie A has no major derbies this Sunday, but the fixtures on the schedule are sure to deliver plenty of action and twists.
Napoli, Juventus, Atalanta and AC Milan are all in action, with all four teams in need of the three points following their slow starts to the season.

Fiorentina vs. Napoli (11:30am)
Fiorentina finally secured their first win, but to do so they needed a match against the league’s weakest side and newly promoted Venezia.
Napoli lost to Inter and Como at the start of the season and will certainly regret it for the rest of the campaign, regardless of how the season unfolds from here on.
In any case, they cannot afford to slip up against struggling sides like Fiorentina. I’m surprised that the bookmakers are offering 6/5 on a Napoli win, and I simply have to take advantage of this.

Frosinone vs. Como (2pm)
Frosinone have not stopped surprising us since the start of the season, although it is true that their last three league matches were against less formidable or struggling sides.
Como, meanwhile, continue to delight us on all fronts; they are unbeaten in Serie A and recently dominated in their Champions League debut. The difference compared to last season is that they aren’t quite as solid in defence and have conceded a goal in each of their five matches so far.
In my view, they have everything it takes to beat Frosinone, but it won’t be an easy match and I reckon we can expect goals from both sides.
Frosinone vs. Como top betting tip: BTTS
Parma vs. Genoa (2pm)
Four Serie A teams are still without a win, and Parma and Genoa are two of them. This gives at least one of the teams a chance to capitalise on the other’s poor form and turn their season around.
However, the fact remains that both teams are performing terribly in attack and are creating no real danger. If we also take into account the recent encounters between the two sides, it becomes even harder to expect an exciting clash.
The last five head-to-head matches have ended with fewer than three goals, and both matches last season finished 0–0.
Parma vs. Genoa betting tip: Under 2.5 goals
Juventus vs. Atalanta (5pm)
Juventus and Atalanta have both had similarly inconsistent starts to the season, and a win on Sunday would certainly lift spirits ahead of the international break.
Atalanta have suffered back-to-back defeats against Roma and Cagliari, whilst Juventus lost 3-2 to Sassuolo. The difference here is that the Old Lady also had a Europa League match to contend with, which they won 5-0.
And generally speaking, Juventus are very strong at home, and I believe that will be a key factor in this match. I intend to back them because Atalanta have looked completely out of sorts in recent fixtures.

AC Milan vs. Lecce (7:45pm)
Lecce show some class when they face newcomers and lower-ranked teams, but their weaknesses are evident from the very first minute against the big names.
AC Milan started strongly with two wins, but have now gone three games without a win, including a recent defeat to Benfica in the Champions League. They will certainly be looking forward to an easier fixture against Lecce, given their last three opponents.
Given that the visitors haven’t won at San Siro for around 30 years, the Rossoneri can rest easy and should take the opportunity to show that they really can be a force to be reckoned with this season.
