Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions
Como vs. AS Roma (11:30am)
Como’s defeat to Fiorentina was certainly a bit of a surprise, but then again, no one expected them to be flawless all season.
AS Roma held their own against Inter, and that will prove to be a key moment come the end of the season, but they now need to get back to winning ways if they are to stand any chance in the title race.
Given the strong form of both teams and their goal-scoring prowess, I think it’s difficult to bet against goals in this match. We might see a low-scoring game given the importance of the fixture, but these aren’t the sort of teams that play it safe.

Lazio vs. Monza (2pm)
The appointment of Gennaro Gattuso was clearly the right decision, as Lazio have started the season with four wins and a draw – the best start to a season in the club’s history.
If they win on Sunday, it will be the first time in history that they have recorded five wins in their first six matches. And right now that looks a real possibility, as Monza have by no means started the season well.
Particularly away from home, they’ve had serious defensive problems so far, conceding eight goals in three matches. In my view, over 1.5 goals for Lazio is a great option.
Lazio vs. Monza top betting tip: Over 1.5 Lazio goals
Lecce vs. Bologna (2pm)
Bologna have sacked their manager yet again after losing three of their first four matches of the season, but so far we haven’t seen much of a change.
Lecce, on the other hand, are even harder to figure out, as they sometimes dominate only to go on to suffer heavy defeats. My conclusion is that they play reasonably well against teams in the lower half of the table, but the moment they face a serious side, it’s all over.
Fortunately, Bologna are currently far from being a serious side, and the hosts will certainly have their chances. Interestingly, the visitors are massive betting favourites, whilst the bookmakers are offering 11/20 on Lecce scoring over 0.5 goals, and for me, that’s the best value option.
Lecce vs. Bologna betting tip: Over 0.5 Lecce goals
Sassuolo vs. AC Milan (5pm)
AC Milan are still unbeaten in Serie A since Ruben Amorim took charge, and overall they appear to be in good scoring form. However, their away form leaves something to be desired.
Sassuolo are by no means a team that can be easily beaten at home, especially following their strong start to the season. The Black and Greens have started with four home wins across all competitions and most recently beat Juventus 3–2.
In my view, it makes sense to expect goals here. Sassuolo aren’t particularly impressive defensively, but they have the ability to score, so over 2.5 goals and Both Teams to Score are equally good options.

Cagliari vs. Juventus (7:45pm)
We’ve seen quite a few surprises since the start of the season, and Cagliari’s place in the top four is certainly one of the biggest.
They are currently above Juventus in the table, and this is entirely down to their tactical discipline and phenomenal defensive play. The Old Lady have made a few mistakes so far and certainly have room for improvement in their away fixtures.
This is a very difficult match to predict, because Cagliari’s style of play simply doesn’t suggest we’ll see many goals. Mistakes are possible, which could lead to a high-scoring result, but I find it hard to expect that after four 1–0 results from their last five matches.
