Freiburg will look to go top of the Bundesliga table as they welcome newly-promoted Schalke to Europa-Park Stadion on Sunday afternoon.
Freiburg have made an impressive start to the campaign, as they won each of their opening three Bundesliga fixtures this campaign, before claiming a 2-2 draw away at Eintracht Frankfurt last time out.
Julian Schuster’s hosts are notoriously strong at home and have already cruised to 4-1 and 5-0 victories against Werder Bremen and Gladbach respectively.
Schalke finally returned to the Bundesliga after a three-year absence, but endured a tough start as they were comfortably beaten 3-0 away at Augsburg.
However, Miron Muslic’s visitors have since won 1-3 away at Union Berlin, either side of goalless draws at home to champions Bayern Munich and newly-promoted Elversberg.

As alluded to, Freiburg are generally strong at home and that has continued this season, cruising to victories over Werder Bremen and Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Breisgau Brazilians have fired in nine goals across both of those victories, and I’m backing them to have too much firepower for a Schalke side that has blanked in three of their four matches since returning to the German top flight.
