The wheels are starting to come off AC Milan's Serie A title challenge and San Siro chief Stefano Pioli is now having to contend with an ever-growing injury list.
Milan, for all their attacking brilliance this season, have kept just one clean sheet in their last 10 Europa League outings and I suspect their cavalier approach could well be their undoing when they come up against a Manchester United team who tend to do their best work when playing on the counter-attack.
Celtic, Lille and Red Star Belgrade have all managed to score two or more goals in Europa League encounters with AC Milan this term and given that Man United will represent a serious upgrade on those aforementioned opponents, I'll happily back the Red Devils to rack up two or more strikes on Thursday night.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side scored 2+ goals in 4/6 Champions League group-stage matches – a section that included PSG and RB Leipzig – and they demonstrated their attacking prowess when putting Real Sociedad to the sword in the previous round of the Europa League.
With that in mind, coupled with AC Milan's lengthy absentee list, I'm happy to back the Old Trafford outfit to hit the back of the net at least twice here.
