International football takes centre stage this weekend, however, there is still plenty of domestic action to get stuck into north and south of the border, and I'm going to delve into League 1 in England.

Lincoln vs Bristol Rovers (Saturday, 15:00)

Lincoln City have made a perfect start to their League 1 campaign and they will be looking to continue their momentum when they play host to Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

Michael Appleton's men are coming into matchday 5 having won each of their opening four assignments of the season and they will attract plenty of attention from punters this weekend to make it five wins from five at quotes of 5/6.

Standing in the Imps way at Sincil Bank on Saturday is a Bristol Rovers side who occupy 15th place in the table having taken four points from a possible 12 thus far.

Ben Garner's boys bagged their first win of the season last weekend with a 2-0 success at home to 10-man Northampton, however, a trip to red-hot Lincoln provides a major upgrade on that challenge.

Indeed, the above-mentioned price for a home win on Saturday makes appeal, however, I'm more attracted to the Even-Money on offer with William Hill for Lincoln to score two or more goals in this contest.

Appleton's in-form side are the division's top scorers after four rounds of fixtures and having scored at least two goals in each of those four outings, I like the look of siding with a repeat on Saturday at an eye-catching Even-Money with William Hill.

Bristol Rovers have shipped five goals across their first two road trips of the season and it's worth mentioning they have failed to win any of their last 10 League 1 matches away from home.

Rovers sustained bout of travel sickness can be attributed to their ropey rearguard – the visitors have kept just one clean sheet across their last 10 League 1 tussles away from the Memorial Stadium.

With that in mind, coupled with the fact that the Imps are scoring freely, I'm more than happy to back the hosts to notch up two or more strikes at Sincil Bank on Saturday.

It's also worth noting Hull City could knock Lincoln off their perch on Friday night – at least temporarily – and if so that would provide Michael Appleton's men with added motivation to make it five wins on the spin.
