Holstein Kiel hold a 1-0 aggregate lead over FC Koln ahead of the Bundesliga play-off final second leg at the Holstein-Stadion on Saturday evening.
Ole Werner's side have a precious one goal advantage following their hard-fought 1-0 win at the RheinEnergieStadion on Wednesday.
That means Koln need to win this weekend to have any chance of preserving their place in the Bundesliga next season.
Whether or not the Billy Goats beat the drop remains to be seen and I'm going to steer clear of the outright betting here and instead dip into William Hill's Build Your Odds feature.
If we combine each team to see over one card we will be presented with a 17/20 (William Hill) play and that makes plenty of appeal.
The stakes couldn't be higher ahead of this do-or-die dust-up and given the immense pressure that will be on both sides on Saturday I suspect that sparks could fly at the Holstein-Stadion.
Unfortunately Bundesliga referee appointments are not announced until the day of the match so it's currently a waiting game to see who will take charge of this huge showdown.
However, a large majority of German whistlers were averaging over three cards per game during the regular season, not to mention the first leg generated a collective total of seven cards.
Kiel were averaging just 1.62 cars per game in the Bundesliga 2 this season but they have gone into the book on at least two occasions in four of their last six outings.
Koln, on the other hand are averaging exactly 2.00 cards per game on their travels this term and it's also worth noting that Friedhelm Funkel's charges have chalked up two or more cautions in five of their last six fixtures.
With that in mind, coupled with the fact the above-mentioned combination clicked during the first leg, I'm more than happy to support the same formula here as the play-off final reaches its dramatic climax.
