HAVING missed out on my two both teams to score lines on Saturday I'm doing a Sunday fourfold based solely on stats.

When choosing my games I usually look at recent form, how many clean sheets kept and team news.

Records are there to be broken so stats don't always stand up and remember squad line-ups change every season.

One criteria that's particularly important is to look at sides who score goals away from home because home teams are more likely to hit the target.

Anyway this fourfold comes after studying Racing & Football Outlook's European both teams to score final table from last season.

I'm hoping it's a useful piece of info so let's start in Serie A where an opening weekend fixture sees two of the top three in the table meet, Palermo v Inter Milan.

Palermo topped the Italian table with both sides scoring in 25 of their 38 games while it was 23 games for Inter.

Next try Fiorentina v Bologna. Fiorentina finished second in the table with 24 and although their opponents were nearer the bottom they did net in 10 of their 19 away games.

Now to Spain and Espanyol v Athletic Bilbao. Bilbao topped the table with 25 out of 38 but crucially both teams scored in 15 of their 19 away games.

Finally try the Norwegian league clash between Molde and Brann. Their stats are based on this season with both teams scoring in 13 of their 21 matches played.

I haven't given individual odds for these games as not all bookies price them up. William Hill have them all listed and the fourfold pays just over 9-1.

Both teams to score

Fiorentina v Bologna (2pm)

Molde v Brann (7pm)

Palermo v Inter Milan (7.45pm)

Espanyol v Athletic Bilbao (9pm)

Fourfold pays 9-1 with William Hill
