STAN WAWRINKA'S US Open triumph signals the end of the tennis season's Grand Slams and there were plenty of positives for the British contingent in New York despite Andy Murray's quarter-final exit.
Andy's brother Jamie lifted the doubles crown with Brazilian sidekick Bruno Soares while Dan Evans and Kyle Edmunds both hit career-high rankings following their singles exploits at Flushing Meadows.
The Murrays, Evans and Edmund are all in the GB team for the Davis Cup semi-final against Argentina in Glasgow this weekend, where the Brits are 5-11 favourites at Marathonbet to make the final and the visitors are priced up at 3-1 by Skybet.
