The two form teams in the Premier League meet in today's lunchtime clash at Villa Park.
Unai Emery has transformed Aston Villa's season since taking over from Steven Gerrard. The former Rangers' manager left the club sitting just above the relegation zone on goal difference but they're now in a strong position for a European place and if they keep up their current form won't be far away from a top four finish.
Visitors Newcastle will provide a litmus test for just how much progress Villa have made. Eddie Howe's side have won five in a row and anything less than a top four finish will be viewed with disappointment on the north east.
This one looks really hard to call but defeats to Arsenal and Manchester City under Emery points to them being a bit short to compete with teams right at the top. The Magpies aren't far off that and could just edge it at 21/20.
Sean Dyche will be hoping Everton can add to their strong record against Fulham against whom they've only lost two of their last 14 league games. If the Toffees are to claim the points it'll most likely be in a 1-0 win, all three wins under Dyche have come at home by that scoreline. It's 6/1 for a fourth by that scoreline.
Tottenham are a bit too short at 9/20 at home to Bournemouth but should get the job done. Harry Kane to net looks a better value bet at 4/5. The hitman has scored in 20 of his 30 Premier League appearances this season including his last four for Spurs.
Roy Hodgson's impact at Crystal Palace has been immediate. A 5-1 win at Elland Road flattered the Eagles a bit but plenty will be keen to get involved with them today at 17/10. Southampton are desperate for a win that could lift them off the bottom so it could be an end-to-end encounter at St Mary's. With that in mind BTTS at 19/20 appeals in this one.
In the evening kick-off Leicester should probably be bigger than the 14/1 on offer. Man City purred in midweek against Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich and if they hit anything near that lvel of performance tonight it could be long evening for the Foxes at the Etihad. A comfortable, goal-laden home wins looks on the cards.
After last night's win for Aberdeen, Hearts find themselves five points off third place, an incredible fall from grace in a short period of time and one that's cost Robbie Neilson his job. Steven Naismith will be in the dugout for the Jambos at Easter Road as they attempt to arrest the side in the Edinburgh Derby.
It's a fixture they've enjoyed a lot of joy in recently but who know's how this one will go. Hibs couldn't be trusted to take advantage of the turmoil at Hearts so this one night be best enjoyed without a bet on the outcome.
John Beaton is the man in charge. He's dished out 6 reds this season and there's been two sendings-off in the last four meetings. A red today pays 2/1.
Motherwell have seen some backing ahead of their home match against bottom side Dundee Utd. Stuart Kettlewell has Well heading oin the right direction but their turnaround in form has probably come too late for a top six finish. But they're a side with some good momentum at the moment and still backable at 19/20.
In the Scottish Championship, Inverness (17/20) can keep their good run going with a win at hapless Cove Rangers. It's now four wins on the bounce for Caley and they've plenty to play for with a top four place up for grabs and a Scottish Cup semi-final before the end of the month. Over 1.5 away goals appeals at 5/6.
Ayr United fan Stuart Wilson was very down on his team's chances at Firhill in this week's Gambla Podcast. He feels that Lee Bullen's side have run their race this season and that an in-form Partick Thistle side look in good shape to take the three points at even money.
Arbroath could be a bit of value at 11/5 away to Raith Rovers. The hosts' season looks like it could be fizzling out, they're not in relegation trouble nor are they likely to make the play-offs. Dick Campbell's side on the other hand seem to have hit some form at just the right time and have picked up impressive wins against Queen's Park and Ayr United as well as a point against league leaders Dundee.
Airdrie could also beat the odds at Falkirk. First place looks out of reach for the Bairns so attention will be turning to their semi-final against Inverness in a couple of weeks. Airdrie have won five in a row, scored 22 goals and conceded just two so make the short trip in good spirits. 2/1 is worth a punt.
League One leaders, Stirling Albion (21/20) are unbeaten since the start of December and although they face a tough trip to Stenhousemuir they can't be ignored at odds against in that kind of form and on the brink of the title.

Catanzaro v Foggia
No much I’ve no said about Catanzaro in recent weeks and tomorrow is the champions in waiting last home game of the season.
98 goals scored in 36 games at an average of 2.72 goals per game,at home that average rises too 3.33 with 60 goals in 18 at home where they have won 17 of 18 matches.
They’ve scored 2+ in 26 of 36(72%) league games including 16 of 18(89%) at home in which they went onto score 3+ in 13
They face a Foggia side who have conceded in 14 of 18(78%) away days. They have an upcoming promotion playoff too come so injuries will be the last thing they need against the best team in the league.
Catanzaro will hopefully looking too sign of in style infront of their home crowd and smash the 100 goal barrier They showed no signs of slacking off since clinching the title some weeks ago, they have scored 25 in their last 8 and 4 in each of their most recent 2 which were on the road.
2+ goals is a bit low for a single but fine for doubles & upwards, actually think its a crazy price and was expecting 1/2
Catanzaro 2+ team goals 4/6
Catanzaro 3+ team goals 2/1
Best of luck with yer bets all

Arbroath got everything to play for and Raith kinda like a tackle or two !

Chelseagirl, should be at least each team over 1 , if you get team cards Arbroath should get over 2 we are quite an aggressive team!😀

Villa v Newcastle – Has a DRAW written all over it today. Just a suggestion, it’s a very tough game to call and a draw @ 5/2 is great value in my opinion. Just a thought 💭
Newcastle win btts for me.
I’m hoping the bookies are going to shift the price on Bellingham to join Liverpool, he’s currently 3/1, lots of reports that Liverpool have pulled out of the race to sign him, i find that hard to believe since they made him their top target. Seen this stunt before if the price moves a bit i’m going to back it, but he could of course opt to remain at Dortmund for another season.
He was posted missing in the BAYERN GAME.
Can’t see Liverpool splashing 150m+ on bellingham when ye need other signings especially when top 4 isn’t looking likely could be wrong obviously but it doesn’t really make sense
Yeah I know what your saying drum tips, you never know what’s going to happen when it comes to Liverpool signing players though, seen this happen a few times.
Would Bellingham sign for a team that are likely to be in the Europa conference league ??
Not stirring, just a serious question.
If Liverpool were flying and looking good for a sustained run of success I’d say he would come, but results recently suggest it’s an end of an era moment for this group, like when dalglish jumped ship years ago and left others to rebuild.
I know macca will tear my head off now so I’ve got my steel helmet on and I’ve retreated to my bunker
You have pulled out because he doesn’t want to join Liverpool! It’s all to try and save face
I’m not sure elvis, but having Klopp as a manager will have plenty of appeal as he is known for winning trophies.
And there is the Dortmund connection with klopp, a tenuous one granted as klopp left there years ago.
I’d say if Madrid came calling he would go there as playing abroad obviously doesn’t faze him.
Wherever he goes he will improve that club that’s for sure
Cheers Hombre3000 i didn’t know that.

Everton v Fulham 3pm
Everton win (2 up rule) 23-20
Everton win and under 4.5 match goals.
Could be a nervy game for Everton especially but with Fulham’s performances since that madness at old Trafford dipping quite a bit maybe it’s a good time to be playing Fulham as they are marooned in mid table obscurity with Chelsea with nowhere to go and nothing to aim at based on their league positions.
Prediction 2-0
Everton win and under 4.5 goals is 6-4 and both at SKYBET…..
Everton have a few players out injured for this game.
If Everton lose this they are in deep doo doo and Marco Silva not well liked at goodison so extra incentive for the home team to scrape something.

Acca’s not access …..
Evening gents,
Been a bit of a mad few days here so not managed to get on much but thought I’d add a quick post tonight as we see Brasil’s top tier kick back into gear.
Not a league and division renowned for goals historically but has been a revelation for btts markets in comparison for the last couple of campaigns.
Low stakes advised at this early stage but I’ll be on the following, all 10.30 KO’s:
ATH PARANAENSE VS. GOIAS (10.30pm)
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
(11/10, bet365) NAP ⭐️⭐️⭐️
ATH PARANAENSE VS. GOIAS
BOTAFOGO VS SAO PAULO

ATH PARANAENSE VS. GOIAS
BOTAFOGO VS SAO PAULO
BRAGANTINO VS BAHIA
FORTALEZA VS. INTERNACIONAL
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 4-FOLD
(16/1, bet365) LONGSHOT ⭐️
Best of luck with all bets!
Does anyone have problems with bet365 getting there money put into there account when they have cashed out on bets. Its been happening to me for the last 3 or 4 wks. Its only for small amounts but its passing me off.
Tonight’s boxing tip… Apologies for the late post, it’s been a long day!
Joe Joyce v Zhilei Zhang.
Most people expect Joe to win this by stoppage and I agree. He should stop Zhang, but I can see Zhang giving as good as he gets for a while – especially with Joyce not renowned for having the best defence.
Joyce to win by stoppage in rounds 7-12 is generally around 11/8.
GL all 🤞
All 5 bets won tonight.
Single on the nap and 3 doubles and a treble on the Trixie.
Finished 1-1. 2-2 and 3-3
A welcome change given my recent efforts 😄
