Every three points are crucial at this stage of the season as teams chase silverware and league survival and we're set for another crucial round of fixtures in the Premier League and beyond this afternoon.

Leeds look in big trouble at the moment. Last week's 6-0 defeat was another gut-punch for Marcelo Bielsa's side who have conceded 33 goals in their last nine Premier League matches and could drop in to the relegation zone today if results don't go their way.

Their lunchtime opponents Spurs were so impressive at Man City last week but almost inevitably followed that win up with defeat at Burnley. Antonio Conte will be hoping for a positive reaction to his post-match comments in midweek where he appeared to suggest his days at the club could be numbered. He's since softened his stance and his side should be good enough to win but it'd be a brave man to back them at odds on (4/5).

Harry Kane was outstanding at the Etihad a week ago and he's 13/5 to open the scoring this afternoon.

Whisper it, but Newcastle might have finally turned the corner. A kind run of fixtures where they played four teams in the bottom eight resulted in 10 points from a possible 12 and they followed that up with a valuable draw at high-flying West Ham to make it five without defeat. That's got the Magpies looking up the table and today's opponents Brentford are one of the teams in their sights.

The welcome return of Christian Eriksen will grab all the headlines but good news is in short supply for the Bees at the moment. Their early season form has all but disappeared and they've picked up just four points from the last 30. Defeat today would see the Toon overtake them and based both team's recent form the 21/10 on Eddie Howe's side has to be considered.

Steven Gerrard's honeymoon is well and truly over at Aston Villa and his side won't find things easy at Brighton today. Just one point from three matches against bottom six sides isn't good enough for Villa and the Seagulls can add to Gerrard's woes with a win at 6/5.

With no game in midweek Man City have had a lot of time to dwell on last weekend's defeat at the hands of Spurs and that can't be good news for Everton. The Toffees look like they'll be reliant on their home form to keep them clear of a relegation battle but even the most ardent Blue won't be expecting much from this evening's match at Goodison.

City have won nine in a row against Everton and should make that 10 tonight. Trying to find an angle is tough with City just 2/7 to win and Over 2.5 Goals at 4/7. Riyad Mahrez has padded out his scoring stats from the penalty spot in recent weeks so he heads the first goalscorer market but it's Raheem Sterling who's scored most league goals for City and he looks better value to break the deadlock at 5/1.

Free-scoring Fulham have scored 32 goals more than any other Championship side so you can't go far wrong backing goals in their matches. They should be too strong for 19th place Cardiff but they have been tripped up on the odd occasion so Over 2.5 Goals at 4/5 makes more appeal.

Both teams have scored in Blackpool‘s last six and today's visitors Reading look to finally have found a bit of form with two wins and a draw in their last three. The Royals are one of only three sides who's matches average Over 2.5 Goals per game in the Championship so add this match to your goals accas.

Goals continue to fly in for Bolton who have now scored 11 on their last four and their match with MK Dons sees two form teams clash. Over 2.5 Goals pays a healthy 19/20.

In Scotland, Derek McInnes is finally getting a tune out of his Kilmarnock squad and it's Kyle Lafferty who is the main orchestrator. The Northern Irish hitman has scored four in his last two and five in total since his January window arrival at Rugby Park and can guide Killie towards another three points at Dunfermline at 6/5.

Your Naps and NB are often priced in and around evens or less I don’t know how that works out assuming you don’t share equal stakes between both. Been trying to follow for the past week or so with the Naps failing and NB coming in but still on a negative balance as it doesn’t make it up.

    🇭🇺Paksi v Fehervar ✅
    🇩🇪Eintracht v Bayern: 17:30

    🔘Bet: o2.5 goals double: 21/20 (bet365) NAP 5pts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is carrying over from yesterday. Paksi went over 2.5 yesterday with minimal fuss. It’s all down to Bayern now to finish the job. Bayern have seen o2.5 in 23/25 league games.

    🇩🇪Leverkusen v Arminia Bielefield: 14:30
    🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Worthing v Enfield: 15:00

    🔘Bet: over 2.5 goals double: 7/5 (William Hill) NB 3 pts ⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s a perfect storm in the Isthmian Premiership with my 2 favourite teams for o2.5 goals going head to head.

Worthing are absolutely flying right now and scoring goals for fun, especially at home. They’ve scored 18 in their last 5 at home and often cover the o2.5 goals on their own. They have scored: 4,6,3,1,4,3,2,2,2,5,3,3 at home in their last 12 games.

Enfield are something else. They’ve seen 121 goals in their 30 league games. They’ve gone o2.5 in 14/16 away games and in 23 of their last 25 games. In recent away games they’ve scored: 1,4,5,0,4,4,1,2,1,2,8,3. They should contribute here.

Leverkusen are absolute goal machines right now and are often covering the o2.5 barrier by themselves. In their last 5 home games they’ve scored: 4,5,2,2,7 goals. They also concede for fun. Their last 10 results have seen: 3-2, 4-2, 2-5, 5-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-1, 2-2, 5-2, 7-1. It’s impossible not to back goals here.

A nice odds against double. Good luck everyone 👍🏻

Shot on target should cover. If he scores 2 or more. Laughing

    🇭🇺Paksi v Fehervar ✅
    🇩🇪Eintracht v Bayern: ❌

    🔘Bet: o2.5 goals double: 21/20 (bet365) NAP 5pts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ❌

    🇩🇪Leverkusen v Arminia Bielefield: ✅
    🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Worthing v Enfield: ✅

    🔘Bet: over 2.5 goals double: 7/5 (William Hill) NB 3 pts ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✅

A rare lack of goals in the Bayern game downs the NAP, which is disappointing as you’d usually out your mortgage on them. But pleased the NB landed at a good price. No damage done today. Confident about tomorrows picks.

    Well done all winners

Agreed buddy. I put a counter-bet on Catterall on points mid-way through the 2nd. I cashed out after the 11th. I’ve used that tactic a few times. It does work well.

Sky do over emphasise the decisions which make it seem more one-sided than it was, however, I agree, I had Catterall 3 rounds up… And that’s being lenient towards Taylor.

When I say that sky over-emphasise, Im on about the way Adam Smith goes on….. he makes it sounds like Catterall won all 12 rounds. I had him winning most rounds, but not all 12!

Either way, Catterall should get an immediate rematch…. But I have a feeling Taylor will move up to Welter

Harry Kane shot on target only winner posted. Took the boosted KDB special though. 1 goal away at Luton for goals 5fold. Foxboro was 2nd aswell so £15 worth of free bets off PP.

    Sassuolo v Fiorentina 20.00 KO – 8/11

2+ match gls plus 3+ corners & 1+ cards each team

Josh Taylor to win KO – EVENS

    Both PP

Overnight treble for the boxing tonight.

Gary Antuanne Russell v Viktor Postol
Jerwin Ancajas v Fernando Daniel Martinez
Chris Colbert v Hector Luis Garcia

All three fights to go the distance.

    With sky it’s 5/4, 10/11 & 6/5 respectively.

    Treble pays just under 17/2.

    GL all 🤞

Night owl for interest while I’m watching this dreadful attack on Kiev on sky news, puts football into perspective doesn’t it, end of the day it’s lives that matter, ALL LIVES..
will be using Ukraine flags to adorn my ramblings from now on to show a bit of support to show I’m thinking of those innocent victims of this oppression.

Both teams to score EVENS (HILLS)

Forget serie a form these are mix and match teams in these state cups
International scored in 7 of 6 games 5 BTTS.
Gremio scored in all 8 games 6 BTTS.
Head to heads don’t suggest a goal frest, maybe 1-1.

2 other bits of news, bielsa apparently has left the Leeds job and have identified Jesse Marsch as a possible replacement whoever he is

Roman Abramovich hands over Chelsea to 6 trustees ??.
I suspect this means he is protecting his assets and stepping into the shadows while the Russians are the world’s pariahs right now but who knows ?

      Elvis, definitely a home decision.

The stats show Catterall landed the most punches by far, but the angle of the fight that each judge sees is different so it’s hard to judge (no pun intended) how many punches landed and how many may not have.

Either way, we should have seen a new champion tonight.

Part of me was thinking about tipping Catterall but then I thought better! Home advantage can (as we’ve seen tonight), be huge
