Calcio drama reaches a boiling point this weekend as Serie A delivers another round of high-stakes encounters across Italy.
The spotlight shines intensely on the San Siro as AC Milan and Inter Milan lock horns in a monumental Derby della Madonnina clash. Tactical masterclasses and individual brilliance will dictate whether the title contenders can seize momentum or drop vital points.
Below you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for all Serie A matches on Saturday.
Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions
Bologna vs. Monza (2pm)
Bologna head into this fixture at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara as clear favourites, looking to leverage their latest form against a struggling Monza side.
The Rossoblu have impressed with their tactical discipline and intensity in the last few weeks, winning three of their last four clashes. Monza, meanwhile, have found life difficult on the road and will need to tighten up a porous defence that has frequently leaked soft goals this term.
Expect Bologna to control the tempo of the game from the opening whistle. Their strong form in the final third should be enough to secure the three points.
Bologna vs. Monza top betting tip: Bologna to win
Udinese vs. AS Roma (5pm)
The Bianconeri traditionally prove a tough nut to crack on home turf, but not this season, as they haven’t won a single home match since the start of the season.
Roma arrive with superior firepower and creative depth, making them favourites to dictate the rhythm. The Wolves are one of three sides without defeat in Serie A after nine rounds, and in the last two rounds they put four goals past Cagliari and three past Napoli.
Udinese will need their goalkeeper and defenders to put in heroic shifts to keep Roma's forwards quiet throughout the match. Right now, I do not think that it will be possible for 90 minutes.
Udinese vs. AS Roma top betting tip: AS Roma to win
AC Milan vs. Inter Milan (7:45pm)
The latest edition of the Derby della Madonnina at the San Siro promises to be an absolute spectacle, despite the seven-point gap between the two Milan giants.
AC Milan, playing as the designated home side, possess explosive individual brilliance but often leave big holes in the back, resulting in conceded goals. They suffered their first defeat of the Serie A campaign midweek when Bologna hit them with four.
Inter Milan look like the better tactical side and, to me, have the better squad depth right now. The surprising fact is that they have not won in the derby in seven consecutive attempts. Ruben Amorim’s AC Milan should not be underestimated, but I believe the champions will put an end to their bad H2H streak.
