On their day Spurs can be as good as anyone but they've not hit top gear yet this season, at least not consistently. A front-three of Kane, Son and Richarlison should give any defence the fear. Notably, the latter has yet to score a Premier League goal since moving to Tottenham from Everton, so no prizes for guessing what we're looking at today!
The Brazilian has managed eight shots, three on target, in the league so far this season but none have yielded a goal. He did manage a double against Marseille back in September and it would be very typical if he broke his Premier League duck against his former team this evening.
Tottenham's home form has been impeccable this season and should be too good for Frank Lampard's Toffees. Blackburn have been a Jekyll and Hyde team so far this season with home and away from being completely opposite to each other – 5 home wins, 2 defeat versus 2 away wins, 5 defeats. They travel to Middlesbrough and these are usually close encounters. Five of the last 10 meetings have been draw and none of the other five have been won by more than a goal. In fact only once in those ten has either side scored more than once, with just 15 goals scored in that period. The draw is 12/5.

Alas, a late winner for York but probably the right result and allows thema chance at a cup run and Bury to concentrate on moving back up through the pyramid.
To be honest, I’m still feeling very raw about losing my club and whilst the legal and seperate interest wranglings of support and formation of a ‘true’ Bury roll on, it’s hard to be fully fired up.

Cheers mate – I’ve been a long time removed from my season ticket days and following home and away but I miss not seeing that daily/weekly journey in the league like mad…good,bad or indifferent although it was always nearly the middle one 😩😂
I miss Gigg too, it was never a great ground but christ it had charachter and could tell a few tales.
For years it also had the best turf surface which was the envy of both the the lower and upper divisions.
This was made more so by our crafty groundsman who, in the 80’s and 90’s managed to create a very subtly raised byline so any balls pinged out wide would have an incremental chance of staying in…sounds simple but was devastatingly effective as visiting players would wait for balls to run out of play only for them to hold up as our wingers mopped it up!
