THIS last quarter-final match won't have the same interest as England v Sweden but it's a fascinating encounter.
I’m still hoping Croatia can go all the way and win the World Cup but Russia are a huge roadblock in their path. The hosts have surpassed expectations with lots of workrate and stubbornness and a few flashes of skill too.
I still think Croatia will have too much for them in 90 minutes and I expect a narrow Croatia win.
My penalties bet continues to pay dividends thanks to VAR so I’m continuing with that and I think the Croatia talisman Luka Modric is a great punt for first scorer because he takes the penalties and is also handy from outside with box with both feet.
