NEWCASTLE UNITED suffered Champions League heartache in midweek when their European dream died on Tyneside.
And they face a Fulham side on Saturday who have gone goal crazy in their last two games.
Eddie Howe's side took the lead against AC Milan, but conceded twice to send them to the bottom of the group and make it three losses in a row in all competions.
Fulham have rocketed up to the top half of the table after a couple of remarkable results. They hammered Nottingham Forest 5-0 at Craven Cottage.
And then they sent London neighbours West Ham United back to the east end of the capital with their tails scurrying between their legs after a second 5-0 annihilation in a row.
They also came within ten minutes of winning at Anfield before two late Liverpool goals saw them lost 4-3. So they have scored 14 goals in their last three games.
Given how hard it is to win any game in the Premier League, these are two wins that should make the rest sit up…but they were both at home.
And Fulham have only won one game away from Hammersmith all season and Newcastle have won seven of their eight home games.
