LIVERPOOL will be aiming to take another step towards their inevitable title coronation when they welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield on Wednesday night.

However, it's only a matter of time before the Reds claim their first domestic league title in 30 years and a home win on Wednesday night would put the Anfield faithful on the brink of finally landing the Premier League crown that they so desperately crave.
The runaway Reds have been well-nigh flawless this term having won 27 of their 30 top-flight tussles and they go into this fixture seeking an eye-watering 23rd Premier League home win on the spin.
Standing in Liverpool's way on Wednesday night is an in-form Crystal Palace outfit who have taken maximum points from each of their last four Premier League assignments.
The Eagles have exceeded expectations this season under Roy Hodgson's astute management and the capital club picked up where they left off before the enforced break when bagging a 2-0 win away at Bournemouth on Saturday night.

Indeed, Liverpool possess one of the most formidable front-lines in world football, however, Palace are a well-schooled side and they will make the trip north having kept a clean sheet in each of their last four Premier League matches.
What's more, eight of the Eagles last 10 road trips have generated under 2.5 strikes and I fully expect Hodgson to set his side up to defend deep and in numbers in an effort to try and limit Liverpool.
