Leeds vs LeicesterEnglish Premier League, KO: 20:00 Nov 2, 2020, Elland Road
LEEDS United continue to light up the Premier League and they will be looking to register their fourth win of the season when they lock horns with Leicester at Elland Road on Monday night.
Marcleo Bielsa's side caught the eye during a chaotic 4-3 defeat away at Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season and they put in a magnificent display during a manic 1-1 draw with Man City – a bout that saw both of my recommended bets bank.
The Whites first real setback of the season came in a 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves, however, Bielsa's boys bounded back in style with a brilliant 3-0 victory away at Aston Villa last time out.
Standing in Leeds' way on a Monday night is a Leicester City side who have managed three consecutive wins across all competitions.
After a flying start to the season, the Foxes suffered back-to-back Premier League home defeats, however, Brendan Rodgers' men rebounded last Sunday by stunning Arsenal with a 1-0 win at the Emirates.
Leicester exceeded expectations after finishing fifth last season and the Foxes will again have ambitions of gatecrashing the Premier League's traditional top-six this time around.
Leicester have won all three of their Premier League away matches this season and another road success for Rodgers and Co is trading at 17/10 with William Hill.
Indeed, Leicester have seen their last three league fixtures end without both teams obliging, however, the Foxes have fired in 11 goals across four road trips in all competitions this season and I fancy them to strike at Elland Road.
What's more, Rodgers' side have registered just one clean sheet in their last five top-flight tussles and they will be hard-tasked when trying to tame a Leeds team who have scored in all but one of their competitive outings thus far.
Backing both teams to strike looks slightly short at the aforementioned odds and therefore I'm going to head to the Bet 365 Bet Builder feature where I'm going to combine both teams to score alongside Leeds to receive under four cards and Leicester to receive under four cards at 4/5 ( Bet 365).
Leeds have failed to register a shutout on home turf this term and whilst I expect them to notch on Monday night, Leicester look like a team who could have the tools to trouble the hosts on the counter-attack.
I'm also happy to throw in each team to receive under four cards given that that referee Andre Marriner is notoriously lenient when it comes to getting his book out – the Birmingham born whistler has dished out just six cards across the three Premier League games that he has taken charge of this this season so far.
With an entertaining encounter anticipated at Elland Road I'll also dip into the total goals market and have a play on over 2.5 match goals at 4/5 with PaddyPower.
Seven of the 10 leagues matches that these two teams have contested collectively this season have produced three or more goals and with that in mind, coupled with both teams scoring potential, over 2.5 match goals on Monday night makes appeal at 4/5 with PaddyPower.
