TOTTENHAM are setting the early pace in the Premier League table but their title credentials are sure to face a stern test at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Spurs solidified their Premier League crown claims with a vintage performance from a Jose Mourinho managed team in their 2-0 victory over Man City last weekend.
Indeed, Mourinho's men have won all three of their top-flight road trips this term, however, Tottenham face a huge task trying to tame a Chelsea team who have won each of their last seven fixtures across all competitions.
The big-spending Blues made a shaky start to the season but their seven-match winning streak has brought a real sense of optimism back to Stamford Bridge.
Last time out in the league Frank Lampard's star-studded side enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 win over Newcastle, helping me land a trio of winning bets in my match preview.
Chelsea's charge up the table has seen some pundits tip the west Londoners to challenge last season's top-two this term, and this Super Sunday showdown will represent a big chance for either team to put down a real marker in the title race.
Outright Betting
Chelsea have won eight of their last 10 Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge and another Blues success on Sunday is trading 21/20 with Bet 365.
Tottenham have triumphed in just one of their last 34 visits to this venue and a Spurs victory this weekend is an unfancied 13/5 with Bet 365, while the draw is priced up at 5/2 with the same firm.
Betting Angles
This looks like a really tricky fixture to tackle from a betting perspective, therefore I'm once again going to head to Bet 365's Bet Builder feature to throw together a same game multiple.
The 20/23 (Bet 365) combination that I like the look of for this capital clash is under four match goals and each team to collect over zero cards.
Indeed, both of these respective sides are stacked with attacking talent, however, each of the last six meetings across all competitions have featured fewer than four goals.
When digging a bit deeper it can be seen that the under 3.5 goals play has landed in Tottenham's last four Premier League games and I suspect we will see another well organised performance from Spurs this weekend.
What's more, Chelsea and Tottenham have thrown up some fiery fixtures over the past few years and another closely-fought Bridge battle looks likely on Sunday.
It's also worth noting that the above-mentioned Bet Builder banked in both derbies last season and I see no reason to oppose a repeat this weekend.
That line of thought is also going to see me recommend another bet Builder at 4/5 with William Hill by combining under four match goals, Tottenham to score and Tottenham with a + 2 start on the handicap.
Indeed, Lampard has shored up his defence but the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have the tools that could trouble the Blues backline on the counter-attack and, I fancy Spurs to strike in what should be a captivating contest.
