Monday’s football tips: Take a shot on Gyokeres at 9/5 as Arsenal bid to blow Burnley away

There will be a party atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium tonight as Arsenal look to take a big step closer to Premier League title glory by beating Burnley.

After a nervy 1-0 victory away to West Ham last week, Mikel Arteta knows two more wins will end the club's 22-year wait for the crown.

And it's hard to see them slipping up now, with this clash against the relegated Clarets followed by a trip to Crystal Palace, who will have one eye on the Conference League Final.

Arsenal vs Burnley top betting tips

Burnley battled to a 2-2 draw with Everton in their last outing but facing an Arsenal side closing in on the title is a much tougher proposition.

Some bookies have the Clarets as big as 30/1 tonight while the best price for the Gunners is just 1/9 at Ladbrokes.

Arteta's side beat Fulham 3-0 in their last home Premier League outing but it's hard finding value tonight as an Arsenal win with over 3.5 goals only pays 19/20 at Coral.

The odds are better for player bets and skipper Martin Odegaard is 11/5 at Ladbrokes for an assist after setting up the winner at West Ham.

Viktor Gyokeres should lead the line and he looks good at 9/5 with Betway for over 1.5 shots on target.

Waterford vs Drogheda United

Waterford are toiling badly in the Irish Premier Division and badly need a win tonight when fellow strugglers Drogheda United come calling.

This is the 17th game of the league season and Waterford are still waiting for their first victory, a horror run of form that has left them nine points adrift of Sligo Rovers.

Third-bottom Drogheda are a further two points adrift so this looks like a must-win game if Waterford are to stand any chance of avoiding finishing bottom.

Five of the last eight have ended in draws for Waterford so backing the stalemate might pay off tonight at 13/5 with Betway.

BTTS and over 2.5 goals have landed in each of the home side's last three so combining those bets tonight may pay off at evens with William Hill.

Arka Gdynia vs Nieciecza

There's a huge game at the foot of the table in Poland tonight as Arka Gdynia look to give their survival hopes a shot in the arm at home to Nieciecza.

With two games to go, Arka sit second bottom but a win tonight would move them above Lechia Gdansk and level on points with fourth-bottom Widzew Lodz heading into the final day.

Nieciecza are already guaranteed to finish bottom and have nothing to play for so it's no surprise to see Arka Gdynia as odds-on favourites.

But I thought they would be shorter than 3/4 and you can boost that price to evens at Bet365 by adding on over 1.5 goals.

Backing the home side to be winning at half-time and full-time also looks decent at 13/8 with BOYLESports.
