Bristol City vs Ipswich TownEnglish Championship, KO: 19:45 Mar 12, 2019, Ashton Gate
IPSWICH'S campaign seems to have been cursed from the very off and it's surely now just a matter of time before relegation to League One is confirmed.
Paul Lambert accepted a poisoned chalice when he took over from Paul Hurst back in October, with the Tractor Boys having won just once in 14 games.
The Scot still had time to turn things round but despite some improved displays the results just haven't come and he now looks doomed to the drop again after relegation at Stoke last season.
Lambert has won only two games since taking over, the last coming against Rotherham in mid-January, and it's hard to see his side adding to that tally at Bristol City.
Ipswich have at least been a bit harder to beat of late, drawing four of their last five games, but the Robins need a win to keep on track for the play-offs and should get it.
Bristol City have taken just one point from their last four league games, dropping out of the play-off places in the process, but their fixture list has been tough.
Norwich, Birmingham, Preston and Leeds were all form teams when they faced Lee Johnson's side so they should bounce back against the team sitting bottom of the pile.
Unsurprisingly, Bristol City are 4/7 hot favourites for this one so you need to get a little creative for some value. With the exception of a derby thrashing by high-flying Norwich, Ipswich have been far from outclassed since the turn of the year so a narrow Robins win could be the shout.
City are 127/50 to win by a one-goal margin with Marathonbet, while a one-goal win for either side is also available at a decent 8/5 with Betway.
Another good option could be the half-time/full-time market, where Bristol City are 7/2 with Marathonbet to win after a level first half.
Senegalese striker Famara Diedhiou is the man in scoring form for Johnson's side, with three in his last six games. He's 9/2 favourite to break the deadlock and 6/4 for anytime scorer at Bet 365 which looks well worth a few quid.
Midfielder Jon Nolan has two goals in his last six games for Ipswich and looks their best option in the anytime scorer market at 15/2 with Bet 365.
This English Championship match between Bristol City and Ipswich Town will be played on Mar 12, 2019 and kick off at 19:45
