BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION will be on a revenge mission when they meet Manchester United at the Amex Stadium on Thursday night.
The Seagulls' FA Cup dreams were shattered by the Red Devils after being knocked out at the semi-final stage in a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss at Wembley less than a fortnight ago.
Roberto De Zerbi's side were subsequently beaten 3-1 at Nottingham Forest but they rebounded in style when romping to a 6-0 win over Wolves at the weekend.
That triumph served as a timely reminder to the rest of the division that Brighton are still very much in the mix for a European place and they will look to boost those European aspirations by toppling Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag's team tightened their grip on fourth spot with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over in-form Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday.
That means United make the trip south unbeaten in their last five league games, winning four times during that sequence, and another success here would land a hammer blow to the hopes of one of their European-chasing rivals.

Despite failing to get the better of Man United in their recent FA Cup meeting, Brighton & Hove Albion head into this encounter as odds-on 19/20 (William Hill) favourites.

I suspect this contest will be closer than the odds suggest so I'll head to the Bet Builder market and combine over zero Manchester United goals and Manchester United with a + 1 start on the handicap at 19/20 with William Hill.
While Brighton are having a season to remember and should not be underestimated, their cavalier approach should present their top-heavy guests with goalscoring opportunities here.
Although Manchester United are not firing on all cylinders at the moment, they are a team filled with goal-threatening talent, not to mention they have only failed to score in in five of their 32 Premier League fixtures this season so far.
It's also worth noting that the Red Devils have made the net ripple multiple times in road gamers at the likes of Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham this term, and they have also hit a minimum of goals in three of their last four league games.
As such, I think there is plenty of scope for Erik ten Hag's team to strike at least once here when faced with a Brighton side that have only kept one clean sheet in six of their previous seven tussles against traditional big teams six this season so far.
