After a trip down to London to watch the Bills lose to the Jaguars last week it was nice to see a few winners provided by myself starting with that early game as Trevor Lawrence sailed over his rushing line, we were a little unlucky on the spread, especially as there was a +2 available for a lot of the week which have resulted in a push. I nailed it on Ja'Marr Chase though, he finished with a Bengals-record 15 receptions for 192 yards and a hat-trick of scores although I missed out with Zach Ertz receptions in the same game (although he did find the end-zone for them).

So we're on to the final London game of the year as the NFL moves on to Germany and finally Mexico to close out the international series in the coming weeks.

Titans +5.5 @ Ravens: 42.5

Two teams who have proven very tough to call so far this season, both of whom are based on the back of strong defenses, so we could see a lower-scoring game in this one. The Ravens travelled over to our shores early in the week while the Titans are trying to treat it like a standard week by coming over on Friday to prepare for this, I'd argue that longer over here is better, but we'll see.

The Titans stuffed my Bengals with all kinds of exciting plays before losing to the Colts last weekend. There's call for Tannehill to be replaced if they lose tonight but it seems harsh to blame their offensive woes on him, there's simply just not much around him although Deandre Hopkins had his best game as a Titan last week with 140 yards from 8 receptions. Outside of him they're weak with Treylon Burks missing this week. They need to get Derrick Henry going, he's had the one good game this year and around 50 yards in each of the others, he has been involved in the passing game a little more though and that's a spot I'll be looking at in this one.

The Ravens contrived to win a game they should have scored 34 points in, drops, fumbles and interceptions killed them against the Steelers last weekend and they should bounce back in this one. Lamar Jackson had been throwing well but the pressure got to him last weekend. This week he should once again have a near full-strength WR corps to aim at with Odell Beckham and Rashod Bateman playing again to help out rookie Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews, as long as they actually catch things this time… the running game isn't as electric as we'd hope with Gus Edwards and Justice Hill sharing a 60/40-ish split.

Two very good defenses, but one team has an offense capable of making things happen, the other (for the most part, doesn't). I've got to take the Ravens to cover a low-scoring game – Props – Derrick Henry o10.5 rec. yards – 4/5 (PaddyPower) – (he's gone over in 4 of 5 games so far), Rashod Bateman o1.5 receptions – 1/1 (Bet365)

Best Spread

Eagles 06.5 @ Jets

There's a few nice looking spreads on offer this week, I did like the Bengals -2.5 hosting the Seahawks, but that's now risen to 3 so I'll avoid that one, I don't mind the 49ers -9.5 @ the Browns but the weather there looks like it's going to make things difficult, and even the big spreads for the Dolphins and Bills should be close to covering although I won't ever take a team giving away over two touchdowns on a spread.

So we're taking one of the best teams in the league to do the business against Zach Wilson and the Jets. It is probably the toughest defense the Eagles have faced this year but they've done things so easily and are so good on defense they should be able to win by a TD at the Metlife. If Sauce Garnder stops AJ Brown as he may well do, they'll go to Goedert or Devonta Smith, or just turn to their dominant run game with D'Andre Swift leading the line on the ground.

The Jets do look like they've got Breece Hall back to full health and he's the one worry for me in terms of them scoring points but the Eagles defense is up there with the best there is as well so they should be able to cover the spread once more.

Best Total

Bengals vs. Seahawks 45

While Unders have done me well in recent weeks I'm switching things up and going for the early Sky game where I'm expecting points.

The Seahawks come off their bye week at 3-1 having only lost their opening game of the season and giving the Lions their only defeat so far. They've done it largely on the back of a great running game with Kenneth Walker looking fantastic and Zach Charbonnet chipping in a little as well when he needs some spelling. If that doesn't get going then they'll look to DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett as one of the better 1-2's in the league in the passing game, I like Metcalf to score tonight.

The Bengals took advantage of not facing one of the best pass rushes in the league last week and Joe Burrow looked healthier than he has all year being able to step into some deep shots and seemingly not feeling the calf strain which has hampered his season so far. They should welcome back Tee Higgins tonight which will hopefully help them, but if not they'll just hit Chase for double-digit receptions as he showed he could do it all by himself last weekend.

Should be a cracking start to the coverage on Sky this weekend and hopefully a 35-20 win for my team.

Best TD Scorer

DK Metcalf – 15/8 (PaddyPower)

I mentioned above I liked the big man to score this weekend and I'll be taking these odds on him as well. The Bengals defense is well organised but they don't have anyone of the size of DK to go up against him so I fancy him to find the endzone after having a week to recoup from his shoulder knock.

There's some big prices on certain players this weekend with some studs missing out through injury. TJ Hockenson at 13/8 is a nice price for the Vikings against the Bears and DJ Moore at 15/8 seems mis-priced after his hat-trick last weekend and up against the poor Vikings defense. If you can find 2 scorers in that game you're on for a good night!

The Dolphins are missing a player as well with rookie De'Von Achane out for 4 weeks after an injury last weekend, he had scored 5 times in 3 games before going down last weekend and it's one of his replacements I like at a bigger price than expected with Chris Brooks – 8/1 (Skybet) – He had 9 carries for 66 yards in their rout of the Broncos the other week nd while Salvon Ahmed could take backup reps behind Raheem Mostert I'm happy having a punt at these odds, and a little on 2+ at 125/1 as well.

Best Player Prop

Josh Downs o3.5 receptions – 20/33 (Bet365)

The Colts rookie has come into a talent-poor offense and has stepped up behind Michael Pittman this season, he's been racking up the receptions and without Anthony Richardson tonight (and maybe for the season) he should show the connection he's formed with Gardner Minshew who hit him 8 times in his one start this year against the Ravens a few weeks ago. He had 8 receptions from 12 targets in that game and has hit 4 in 3 of his 5 games this year. If you're betting on 365 I don't mind the plus-money on 5+ receptions either for him.

Jonnu Smith o3.5 receptions at 29/20 for the Falcons looks cracking as well, he's been hitting 6+ recently and I don't see why that would change this week.

Good Luck with your bets this weekend #WhoDey

Bateman receptions is in already, Titans trailing considerably so should throw more second half, Henry needs 3 yards to top his line

Nice one Adam. Great start for you today. Hope you’re right about the Eagles. We have a lot of defensive players missing today but have plenty of depth so should still be ok and we were much better offensively last week.

DK Metcalf not on the field for the end of their last drive, and now heading to the locker room with a stomach injury, no good for the TD bet
