THE England v Belgium game played out pretty much as expected with no dramas and one moment of magic winning it.
Belgium now face Japan and England take on Colombia so it's a tougher last-16 game for Gareth Southgate's men but a potentially easier one – if there any easy games at that stage – in the quarter-finals against Sweden or Switzerland.
Coral have cut the odds on England winning the World Cup to 7-1 (from 8-1) while Brazil are 10-3 favourites ahead of Spain at 4-1 and Belgium 7-1.
England captain Harry Kane, rested against the Belgians, is 7-4 favourite to win the Golden Boot and has a one-goal lead over 5-1 Cristiano Ronaldo and 11-2 Romelu Lukaku.
So we now know the last-16 ties and bookies are tipping France, Uruguay, Spain, Croatia, Brazil, Switzerland, England and Belgium to make it through.
