Mr Fixit’s World Cup Tips: England on course for final

ENGLAND have exceeded all expectations by reaching the last four – and I expect their adventure to continue until Sunday.

Gareth Southgate's men have reached the semis for the first time since, ahem, 19** and are 11-8 with Betfred to beat Croatia in 90 minutes.

It's bigger than they were against Colombia and Sweden but the Croats are better than those two nations.

This will be England's toughest test but they've looked strong from back to front the whole tournament while their rivals rely mainly on the world-class talents of midfield duo Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic.

Croatia are 13-5 with bet365 while a draw that would force extra time pays 43-20 at Marathonbet.

Ladbrokes offer 6-1 on Stones or Maguire scoring a header and 11-4 on Croatia to grab a headed goal – both were scored that way in their quarter-final against Russia.

For Croat followers penalty taker Modric is 12-1 at bet365 while Mario Mandzukic is 8-1 with Marathonbet.

England's only clean sheet was against Sweden with Jordan Pickford making some good stops. I can see both sides scoring at 21-20 with McBookie while over 2.5 goals is 31-20 with the Scots firm.
