A BUSY week of European football is over and we turn our attention back to domestic matters.
There is of course the small matter of the final day of the Cheltenham Festival first and hopefully anyone following the football has managed to boost their taking power for the big races.
Last night it was all about Arsenal for me and while they qualified and won with over 2.5 goals my Super Single on Alexandre Lacazette to score was downed with his pal masked marvel Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stealing the glory.
My Top Treble was a goal short at Inter-Eintracht but I advised cover and made a small profit. Well done to all the winners and to those who profited on what was a great day for punters at Cheltenham.
Tonight in England it's Doncaster v Barnsley in the Championship and there are plenty of games to look at all over the Continent. Check out kevinmac's Doncaster v Barnsley match preview.
The Inverness v Ross County game in the Scottish Championship has fallen victim to the weather.
As usual at this time of the week I'm concentrating on my weekend picks so apologies for lack of reason. I've picked out a treble and I've said before never scared to risk low stakes.
I'm on Borussia M'gladbach at home to Freiburg in the Bundesliga and Real Sociedad to beat Levante at home in La Liga. To make a treble I've added League of Ireland leaders Shamrock Rovers at around 1-3 to beat Sligo at home.
1.5pts Top Treble
- B M'gladbach (7.30pm)
- Real Sociedad (8pm)
- Shamrock Rovers (8pm)
- (3-1, McBookie)
