IT wasn't a great Sunday for results or outstanding games so thank goodness for Chelsea v Man United.
I didn't fancy much at all and my one bet on over 2.5 goals was a loser. Greg didn't like the card either but at least his one bet on over 2.5 goals at Motherwell landed thanks to a last-gasp howler by Hearts keeper Colin Doyle.
Well done to all the other winners and let's move on to tonight.
At the weekend Chris Sutton was asked on Radio 5 if the FA Cup fifth round had felt a bit flat. For me that was an understatement – there were no shocks, no big games and most of the Premier League sides don't take it seriously.
It was summed up for me when I had to listen to commentary on Wimbledon v Millwall on the way home from my match. No interested.
I am, however, more excited by Chelsea vs Man United tonight and Scott has posted a preview. I fancy United to win as long as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plays close to his strongest side but safest bet could be Man United not to lose.
A draw certainly has a chance and I like HullShaker's thinking about it possibly going all the way to penalties.
Elsewhere tonight we have Roma v Bologna in Serie A, Huesca v Athletic Bilbao in La Liga, Nuremberg v Dortmund in the Bundesliga and Aves-Benfica in Portugal and I've picked out a treble.
Let's start with over 2.5 match goals at Roma who have conceded 17 in 11 home games so while they should win they could concede to a Bologna side that's netted in their last three on the road at Inter, SPAL and Napoli.
Dortmund need a lift after following three score draws in the Bundesliga and cup with a shattering 3-0 defeat at Spurs to almost certainly to exit the Champions League.
They can now concentrate fully on going for the title and victory at basement boys Nurnberg will lift them five clear of second-place Bayern Munich. Dortmund won 7-0 at home and should get back on track against a side with eight defeats in nine and I'm backing them to win by at least two.
Complete the treble with Benfica -1 at third-bottom Aves. Benfica have netted a remarkable 21 goals in four matches domestically including that 10-0 home success against Nacional. They also hit four at Sporting in the cup and knocked five past Boavista.
Aves have kept two clean sheets in three and have conceded 15 at home in 11 so should avoid being routed but I expect Benfica to win by at least two.
For a Super Single I'm going with a double on straight wins for Dortmund and Benfica.

Sarri has no Plan B and has been found out to be a one trick pony. United fully deserved that win though, they were solid, and both goals were excellent team goals. Looked decent at the back too. Chelsea had no response from going a goal down United were in control. I’d agree a bit of both of United playing well and Chelsea (Sarri) failing to mix it up.
How any Manager at 65 mins into the game, 2-0 down at home in a knock out cup tie, doesn’t bring on Hudson-Odoi is beyond me. It clearly wasn’t working so why no throw a curve ball into the mix.
I think Sarri is sacked in the morning.
Worth getting rid of Sarri ASAP to potentially get Hudson Odoi to sign a new contract and get regular playing time, if Sarri stays no chance of that happening and he will leave this summer with his deal only running until 2020. County have been my team to back since December and they are showing no signs of a slip in form. The 3-2 Home win at Edgeley Park v Telford saw them stretch their unbeaten run to 13 games in a row – a new club record not seen for over 70 years.
They’re back on Home soil for this tie against Southport, a team sat mid-table in 13th spot. Whilst doing OK, they’ve not had an away win in their last 3.
They lost recently to my local team Altrincham, 1-0 away and the fact that County completely outplayed Altrincham no less than 3 times in 2 weeks over the festive period (winning all 3 to nil) tells me County are a class above Southport.
County are sat in 2nd position in the table and a win on Tuesday can see them go joint-top with Chorley bar a slightly inferior goal-difference.. unless they bag a shedload of course. I don’t think that will happen tomorrow but I do think they will do enough to get the job done.
