Apologies for the lame attempt at poetry but I'm no Rabbie Burns.
Hopefully Friday's tips will be better than my rotten rhyme and I'm sure everyone will be on goals at Dortmund v Eintracht.
A strange thing happened last weekend when Erling Haaland failed to score after hitting eight in his first four outings for Dortmund.
Haaland's arrival has heralded goals at both ends and in the five matches he's been involved in there have been a remarkable 31 goals – 20 for Borussia,
All five have gone over 3.5 goals as have five of the last six meetings in Dortmund while the sides drew 2-2 in Frankfurt earlier in the season.
Dortmund should win after two defeats but for a Super Single I'm going for over 3.5 match goals at evens with 888sport.
Other games include Wolves v Leicester in the Premiership and there should be goals there too. Hull tackle Swansea in the Championship while in Scotland it's Alloa v Dundee United in the league and Partick v Raith in the Challenge Cup semi-finals.
Valencia v Atletico Madrid is a quality game in La Liga and we have French Ligue 2 and Dutch Eerste league for goalgetters.
As is always the case my focus is on Saturday's games but once I finish my write-ups I'll look to add an acca.
I'm starting with Wolves draw no bet against a Leicester side whose form has dipped with three defeats this season including an EFL Cup semi-final defeat to Aston Villa.
Greg's tipped goals at Monaco and I wouldn't disagree with that but my other tips come from the Scottish games.
It would be easy to back champions-elect Dundee United at lowly Alloa but the Wasps beat United 1-0 at home earlier in the season and went down 2-1 at Tannadice. They've lost just one in six and scored 12 goals in that spell while the leaders are winless in four including a horror 1-0 defeat at home to Arbroath.
I wouldn't be surprised if Alloa took something here but best bet could be Alloa to score at around 8-11.
Championship basement boys Partick Thistle are at home to the side one place below them in the pyramid – League One leaders Raith. With a final place at stake it will be hard fought and could either way and for me both teams should score and a Rovers win wouldn't be a shock.
Last night my Both Teams to Score Treble was beaten by no Heerenveen goal but well done to all the winners including HullShaker and Scott with his members bet single on the Milan v Juventus cup clash.

i have been having some luck the last couple of weeks in A league on bet builder (or same game multis as they are called here in oz) due to having some time to look at stats etc. usually friday and a sunday match i have most time to look.

in their last 5 games adelaide have had 39 corners for and 20 against which makes for a baw hair under 12 per match. the coast slightly less with 31 for and 23 against which is a gnats chuff under 11 per game. interestingly (or not) Adelaide have won the corner count in 4 of their last 5 games in the A league. Head to head sees United a street ahead by 39-22 and that is over 12 per game between the two over last 5.

Im leaving aside the 2nd match, both teams have new managers so its hard to second guess how they will perform. As for the first match im hoping it will be slightly easier. The nix are unbeaten at home since October, have netted 2 goals exactly in their last 6 and have conceded in 5 of those. Similar kind of story for city away games- their last 8 have went over 2.5mgs with both teams netting in 6 of those. With Hendry out and delbridge suspended city should be without 2 of their first choice defenders which should help on the goals front. Advised tip

I know nothing?? The laws of the game state you can’t be in an offside position when you play the ball otherwise it’s a foul. He’s offside. End of story. If it’s all about entertainment then there would be no rules such as offside and it would just be end to end like basketball. Ye can’t just ignore the rules just because it means less goals.
Ye canny just pick and choose what laws ye want to follow because you want “entertainment”. Offside is offside, 10mm 10cm 10 yards, it doesn’t matter. If the lino had picked that up mr fixit no one would have batted an eyelid. Because the VAR has then folk are greeting there eyes out. VAR wasn’t brought in for entertainment purposes, it was brought in to increase the no of onfield decisions which it has. Yes they get it wrong sometimes but it’s less than what the refs were. The thing is, they aren’t getting the offsides wrong, because offside is factual there can be no argument, your either offside or onside. It’s the subjective ones they get wrong and will continue to do so as it’s a judgement call.
I’m not arguing about the decision – it was correct. Doesn’t make me like it.
