FOOTBALL returned with a bang on Friday and there were plenty of goals to keep punters happy.
I watched bits of three games – Dunfermline v Ayr, Livingston v Hibs and West Brom v Birmingham – and all made me happy for various reasons.
Ayr's narrow win gave me a 2.7pts profit on the Ayr draw no bet Super Single while a late flurry of goals at the Tony Macaroni, including an injury-time penalty, landed Greg's over 2.5 goals nap.
I didn't have a bet on the Midlands derby but what a game it was – a real derby and a five-goal thriller. That wasn't on my BTTS treble that was a loser.

Bittersweet this morning and I don’t know whether to curse or thank McBookie. Mentioned them last night about the site crashing my browser and couldny get a bet on but I’ve woken up this morning to £49.88 winnings in my account. I had been trying to place a result & BTTS treble with Hibs, West Brom and Standard Liege. So apparently it accepted a bet with the double on because I missed the kick off in Belgium due to the site crashing my phone constantly. Low and behold Hibs 17/4 & WBA 14/5 land the double to return the £49.88 but Liege won 3-1 and they were priced up at 31/10 if memory serves me. So as I said bittersweet but its McBookies last from this frustrated chap.

If it were me i would wait until the games have kicked off an early goal makes it a lot easier and more profitable to cover for less outlay,other than that cashout,there’s no way i would cover with two games to run if one lands early then cover on the last one.
I don’t see how you are going to cover with 2 games still to play. Let it run and see how the first of the two goes

I’ve spotted what I believe is a cracking value bet.
Calum McGregor is always on my radar for the OF games, He has a phenomenal scoring record in these big games for a midfield player. He’s started in 7 Old Firm games, and he’s scored in 4 of them. And if you consider the last game at Ibrox where he was played as an emergency left-back, you can rule that one out, so he’s scored in 4 of the 6 games where he played in midfield. With his fine record I was expecting odds of around 9/2 to score anytime. But Paddies (and Sportsbook) offer 9/1 for CalMac anytime.
That is huge, in my opinion. I’m on it.
