We've seen a few spectaular comebacks in this season's Play-Offs and in Germany SV Hamburg will be praying they can pull off another tonight.

The former European champions thought they'd secured automatic promotion just over a week ago, when, with fans on the pitch celebrating, news filtered through of an incredible comeback by Heidenheim, who had been two-goals down, scored in the 93rd and 99th minute to secure top spot and push Hamburg in to third.

That was a hammer blow for Hamburg and things went from bad to worse with a 3-0 defeat away to Vfb Stuttgart in the first leg of the Play-Off. Coach Tim Walter was crestfallen after the loss but continues to say the right things about his team turning things around tonight. Fortunately for him the away goals rule is not in place, but a goal for the visitors would surely put the tie to bed.

Stuttgart are 13/10 to underline their superiority with another win whilst it's 9/5 for HSV to get a win in front of their own fans. They need to score a minimum of three goals to stay in the tie and that's a 7/2 shot.

That feels like a big ask against a Stuttgart side that finished 16th in the top flight and had the best defensive record of the bottom six sides.

We had some success backing goals in yesterday's Scottish Premiership play-off and that could be the best approach tonight rather than back a favourite who don't need to win the tie or an outsider who could be vulnerable when chasing the game.

Both teams are more than capable of getting on the scoresheet and we know they love a goal in the Bundesliga so add in Over 2.5 for a 4/5 shot.

Thanh Hoa v Cong Anh Nhan Dan 12pm ko
Last head 2 head although a while ago finished 2-2
Home side have seen Btts and overs in last 5 matches
Away side have seen Btts and overs in 3 out of the 5 last matches. Over 2.5mgs in 4 out of 5.
Could well be a very lively game where it seems clear both are capable of scoring, but on average have conceded at least once per game.

Btts & overs 17/20 main bet
    Btts in both halves 7/1

home side missed a penalty at start of 2nd half. great spot tho, just injury time left now?

    • hampy 1 year ago

Absolutely gutting the Btts both halves didn’t come in. A missed pen by home side. Not on form in front of goal today by the home side.

Not done too bad so far this season to be fair TheMaster, they had been woeful away from home and had a mixed bag of results in the league cup but have kicked on recently.

Man City v Inter Sat 8pm
Early one for the CL final.. I think Inter might target Stones any time he gets the ball due to the fact he’s a CB playing in a CM role.. Inter play 5 in midfield so he shouldn’t have a second on the ball, and if he connects with an Inter player, they’re quick enough to go to ground as we know.. the ref averages 4.6 cards a game this season.. most bookies are sub 5/1 on a Stones card so happy to snap up Unibet’s 8/1 before it goes … BoL if you follow

A serious question who’s going to be the next Celtic manager.

    • jamesylfc 1 year ago

      The return of Rodgers?
If not Celtic should try for Knutsen at Bodo, though have heard Ajax are supposed to be hunting him too.

      1
    • Alves 1 year ago

In a lot better position than 2 yrs ago when Ange came 2 yrs ago and was laughed at by most folk, gone by Xmas etc but Knutsen, Marsch, Maresca & Rodgers seem to be the names going about. Anybody bar Lennon will do me…

    • maccathered 1 year ago

Whoever takes charge hasn’t got to do a lot, I was surprised at him leaving for Spurs to be honest, he plays the style of football Spurs want but is he a big enough manager to manage players like Kane, his appointment could mean Kane joining United.

    • recoba 1 year ago

On about Maca? Big enough to manage Kane is Kane some arrogant A-hole that wouldn’t respect him, who’s this twat coming in I’m outta here!” 🤔

Kane leaves it be NOTHING to do with the manager Spurs have picked it’s just time.
