Neither Leeds United nor Liverpool are where they want to be in the Premier League table and a season plagued by inconsistency makes it nigh on impossible to call tonight's match at Elland Road.
Leeds won when the sides met at Anfield in October, arguably their best result of the season, but they've failed to hit those heights often enough and find themselves on the fringes of the relegation zone.
On their day Liverpool can still be devastating, just ask Manchester United, but all too often they've failed to turn and face the prospect of failing to qualify for European football next season.
The've failed to win any of their five matches since that 7-0 win over United so Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to get three points on the board this evening as they chase down Brighton in 7th place. The bookies rate them as skinny 4/6 chances to win with Leeds at 7/2.
Liverpool have failed to score in three of their last five outings but Leeds have kept just five clean sheets in 35 league games. The Reds still have plenty of firepower so should get on the scoresheet tonight.
At the other end Liverpool have conceded 14 goals away from home this year, joint worst with Everton and Forest, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see Leeds net too. BTTS is just 4/7. Adding in Over 2.5 Goals takes it to 5/6.
Mo Salah's 24 goals this season seem to have gone under the radar. By his own high standards it's been a quiet season for the Egyptian but he's only seven goals away from equalling his tallies in the last two seasons. With just nine matches left that might be a big ask but he's still averaging better than a goal every two games and continues to be Liverpool's biggest threat. He's 11/10 to add to his total tonight.

Stromsgodset 2 are in action today and I can’t help but see goals. 6 in their opener last week, and the jump they have taken in divisions might just be too far in my opinion. They have played 3 teams of a similar level to Sotra and this division (two friendlies and one league) and have lost 15 goals in those games.
The odds look generous for goals and have dropped since last night already. Sotra in my opinion are better than the team Stromsgodset played last week who notched 4 away from home. While I see Stromsgodset contributing, it wouldn’t surprise me to see the home side blow them away.
