Everton’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City was music to the ears of Leicester City fans who will hope to see their team move out of the relegation zone with a win over Liverpool tonight.
The Foxes have managed just one win in 13 but their destiny is now in their own hands. After tonight’s clash with the Reds they’ve Newcastle (a) and West Ham (h) to come.
On the plus side for Leicester, they’re still scoring goals and have found the net in all but one of their last 10 outings. But their problems remain at the other end of the pitch where they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in the league since November. They’ve managed just three shut-outs at home all season and conceded five last time out versus Fulham.
Liverpool have been quietly going about their business in recent weeks, putting together a run of six straight wins – their best of the season. That’s seen them sneak up on the top four although Manchester United’s four point lead over them looks unlikely to be overcome with just three to play.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have ground out 1-0 wins in their last two games but on their day are very capable of racking up goals and will relish playing against the porous Foxes defence. That should mean goals for Salah and co.
Liverpool are 8/15 to win and on current form it’s hard to back against them despite the desperate needs of Leicester. Add in Over 2.5 Goals to take it to a more backable even money shot.

Very confident, i would be surprised if it didn’t land, i know Leicester have Ricardo Periera back but he won’t be up to match sharpness. I just can’t see what Leicester have done in a week to tighten up their defence. Liverpool are playing a new system also so are always likely to concede. Diaz had just come back from injury and Liverpool are a different animal with him in the team, that’s evident with the upturn in form, also Liverpool haven’t played for a week so should be raring to go.
