HullShaker heads to Paraguay in search of goals and favours a home victory…
SPORTIVO LUQUEÑO VS. GENERAL DÍAZ (2215 KO):
AS the early stages of the Paraguayan Apertura campaign unfold, it pays to keep an eye on results; Cerro Porteno were a team that surprised me in the Clausara and their excellent form continued with an opening victory last night…something I sense Luqueño may well emulate.
H2H's can't be ignored
General Diaz were generally dire in 2018 but it's not only their actual form that draws me to this one, more the historical results between the two sides. Over the last 25 months, these two have met on 13 occasions with Luqueno having the bragging rights in 5, Diaz in 2 and the remaining 6 ending in a stalemate.
That may lead to the conclusion that a draw may offer the best value but drill down into those H2H statistics a little further and a much more promising bet pops it's head up!
Home form a key factor
Of the aforementioned 13 H2H's, 7 were played out at The Estadio Feliciano Cáceres in Luque with a stonking 86% of those seeing the hosts hit at least a brace of goals and that's got to be the one for me at a very tasty looking price:
