HullShaker’s Tips: Go for late strike in Iceland

TWO selections for me this evening – the first hails from Iceland while the second is a more speculative #yourodds punt.

ÚLFARNIR vs HVÍTI RIDDARINN (8pm)

It would be easy to go for goals here – on the surface it looks like a goalfest with both sides' opening 2 games seeing 3, 9 and 5, 7 respectively.

But both those games were against weak opposition and these two are much more evenly matched with last season’s H2Hs seeing scorelines of 2-2 and 1-2.

Instead I’m taking that old Icelandic favourite of later goals and, in particular, the away side to score the bulk of their tally in the second half.

CHELSEA vs ARSENAL (8pm)

It ought to be a cracker in Baku and I can see three betting markets coming into play – goals, corners and cards!

I agree with Macca’s thoughts and can see it maybe going to extra time with both sides contributing on the goal front with a bit of handbags thrown in for good measure.
