I'VE plenty of time on my hands these days so I'll be swatting up on the Turkish and Russian leagues.
Those two nations are playing with the Turkish games behind closed doors.
That maybe explained a dull 0-0 draw between Galatasaray vs Besiktas on Sunday and that result meant my double became a winning 3-5 single on both to score at Trabzonspor vs Istanbul.
My Radamel Falcao to score first tip was obviously a loser with Galatasaray being shut out.
There's more action from Turkey and Russia on Monday and I'll have a close look at the games in the morning before deciding to invest.
Antalyaspor take on fourth-place Sivasspor in the Super League while in the first division there are two games featuring mainly strugglers.
In Russia it's 14th-placed Tambov vs 15th-placed Samara in a relegation dogfight with both teams locked on 22 points.
Later there is action from South America so hopefully we'll see some thoughts on those games.
The Antalyaspor games looks full of goals, although empty stands could affect that, so I'll go with btts and adding over 2.5 goals in the first division match at Eskisehirspor. Their matches have been high scoring for months.

Aussie A league to continue, but behind closed doors. No Melbourne victory or wellington matches for probably a fortnight as the have to self isolate once they travel back from NZ. I’ll be just sticking to this league from now on, did the whole turkey/Russia/South America/Ukraine stuff over the weekend following tips from here and using my own and got absolutely no joy. Just about to say that Jsstuhhs. Alan Ts got a few good tips up today and the cameras will still be there so you can watch the race. Hopefully the horses wont find the empty stands and no cheering strange.
I was joking about the horse lads. It probably couldn’t care less at small meetings, Cheltenham etc maybe ditract them at times but bar that. Alan T has nailed 3/4 tips toda and i had an in shop special on the favourites preformances at 5/2 which won easily.

As far as the horse is concerned it will be trying as it does every morning when excercising with no public around.

Last night there were some demos against Argentine games going ahead and I suppose it’s an ever-changing situation.
The likelihood is as the virus spreads there’s a real possibility over the course of the next week or so there won’t be any football anywhere.

A league update
As expected from my comments this morning the A league continues but this week both wellington phoenix games are off, as is the Melbourne victory match. The rest of the games will continue but behind closed doors. Neither of these sides will be in action again until 3/4 april due to the 2 week quarantine they will have to undergo upon landing back in Australia and the wellington players and staff will need to live in Australia and play games away from their home ground at least until the league season is finished so bear this in mind if you fancy a bet and look at their home form. (which is excellent) Not sure where they will play at the moment, most A league teams have several venues that they use throughout the season for home games but I was always under the impression that the phoenix’s were always in New Zealand.
You are correct Wellington are based in New Zealand but will play all remaining games in Australia
Probably going to be based in Sydney but their main problem they have to spend 14 days in isolation and will be unable to train so this must have an effect on their performances.

was listening to SSB there tonite and as far as gather going by comments from club statements interviews etc………..
hearts – Ann Budge saying if league stopped tomorrow and are relegated legal action will be taken.
livingston, hibs, aberdeen, motherwell – all considering legal action as all fighting for euro spots and places in league for additional monies.
rangers – MD Stewart Roberston stating that unless 38 games are played celtic cannot be crowned champions and if do so will consider legal action.
that’s 6 of the 12 SPFL league clubs either going to take or consider legal action if the current years fixtures are not played out in full.
as i said a couple of days ago there needs to be 100% agreement from all parties involved to change the current SPFL rules stating that “the champions, euro spots and relegation will be decided upon the conclusion of all 38 taking place before the 31st of july”
if the league positions are decided as is and the lawyers get involved it will become one almighty mess and costly there is no way Neil Doncaster has the sax for that fight………….
i’ll probably get accused of having the blue specs on again but i genuinely can see the whole of this seasons football in scotland being nul and void and start again as was next season……………….

The null and void situation can’t happen say football chiefs because sponsorship and TV money would have to be repaid.
But no one knows anything for sure. My feeling is Celtic will be made champions and Hearts, with some compo, will be relegated or the SPFL increased to 14 teams.

mr f i agree that the top league increasing to 14 next season looks to be a very fair alternative with hibs, motherwell, aberdeen and livingston all sharing out the monies equally for the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th spots and possibly the euro spots being drawn out of a hat or such
in addition this will allow the 1st and 2nd division clubs to be promoted to the appropriate leagues, however this will cause some fixture congestion in the top league therefore the league cup and winter break may need to be put on hold for a season or 2
also celtic should be awarded the league as champions but caveat it with “awarded due to national emergency” or suchlike and that no official tile or trophy be presented or recorded for the season but giving them representation for scotland in next seasons CL as our league representatives
in addition unfortunately the scottish cup will need to be cancelled for the season as will never get concluded
Again until decisions are made no one knows. Been reported they might unveil next season with the cup semis and final.

They can’t relegate hearts or any other team on a Duckworth Lewis style system.
Only way is if there was a piece in the small print which says league positions due to unforseen long circumstances with no play stand after a certain amount of games, don’t think this is the case.
Same as awarding trophies out to teams that might have won on the balance of probability.
That cannot happen.
Games will have to be completed even if they are played in July- September, And the following season then starts in September /Oct with no cup replays, make champions league and Europa league straight knockout like the old days, will be a true test then, unlike this season where Atalanta got 1 point from their first 4 games yet are still in the trophy.
And cut more games by not letting champions league failures into the Europa league for one season.
Players are having their off season right now, and likes of wolves started this season in July so it can be done having playing from July until next May.
Also scrap the international nations league, there will be Euro 2020 moved to 2021 most probably so need for it.
Scotland etc can play their play offs say late this year instead.
If play cannot resume before September/ October this season is a dead rubber unfortunately.
