Sydney FC v Newcastle Jets (A-League)
Tonight we have league leaders Sydney hosting the Jets. Sydney were fairly average for the first 60mins of their first game back, but saw a jump in their performance for the final 30. They have a huge advantage over the Jets, having now at least played one competitive game. They have a near full squad other than a couple of longer term injuries.
Jets haven’t played a game since March, so are a huge question mark heading into this game.
Home win is the most likely outcome, and with a competitive game under their belts, I do fancy Sydney to punish the Jets and get a bit closer to putting a hand on that Premier’s Plate.

Apparently the decision on the points deduction of Sheffield Wednesday is ‘imminent’ according to the EPL, I’ll believe that when I see it. How farcical it is when we’re on to the last games of the season and no decision has been made (they were found guilty of misconduct in November) then add to that Wigan’s points deduction which may or may not be taken off after the last matches (why?). Obviously if you’re a team at the bottom you’ll be wanting to win the last match but surely you need to know other permutations which may effect the tactics during the game if say a draw would be enough to stay up.

John Swift for Reading linked with move away so i am guessing he might not start tomorrow? If he doesn’t play against Swansea that is a major reason for backing Swansea.
