Match of the day on Wednesday is the second leg of the Champaionship Play-Off semi-final between Brentford and Swansea. The Swans lead 1-0 from the first leg so the tie is finely balanced. There's eight matches in Serie A to complete the penultimate round of fixtures. Lazio still harbour ambitions of finishing second in the table but are as short as 1/8 to win at home to already relegated Brescia.

Tonight’s game is a weird one, with Victory and Roar playing it out in Parramatta, NSW. Victory have nothing to play for, having been terrible for large parts of the season and no hope for a finals spot. As per their previous game, they are missing Kruse through injury, but otherwise have a full squad (noting the departures of international players like Toivonen that I mentioned last time). Other than Rojas, I have little faith in this squad doing much.
Brisbane Roar by contrast, have played better all season, and have a full squad to draw from. They were average in their 1-0 loss to Adelaide a week ago, but will fancy their chances against the worst Victory side I’ve ever seen.
