A STRANGE season takes another mad turn this weekend as last season's Scottish Cup semi-finals are completed.
To be fair we have two cracking ties with Hearts facing Hibs in the Edinburgh derby and Celtic meeting Aberdeen a week after theyfought out a 3-3 league thriller.
Hampden would have been packed for both games so it's a huge pity the National Stadium will be empty.

What I noticed when travelling around America was the support for Trump and what he had done for the US economy until Covid, what seemed to be a popular answer to my Trump or Biden question was that people generally vote for who they like or who they know and although people may not like Trump they said they know him and they know what they are getting, when it came to Biden a lot of people were saying they simply don’t trust him and they can’t vote for someone they don’t trust, there were also a lot of people who said they hadn’t made their mind up yet.

My team Dunfermline have had a pretty solid start to the season. Our first two league games have seen us put 3 past ICT at home and 4 past Alloa away.

My team Hibernian may be 3rd in the league but we have been pretty poor so far, our defending has been better but our attacking play has suffered, we have a lot of players playing well but it’s not all clicking yet,
highlights going forward has been Joe Newell who along with Doidge and Nisbet have been our better players in an attacking sense, Marciano been outstanding at the back and Gogic is a player we have needed for a while now, as for Hearts I don’t know much about them this season,
One thing that has been apparent in American Football in the year of Covid is that having played more games doesn’t give you an advantage and with Hibs season starting before Hearts season shouldn’t give Hibs an advantage, some coaches in College Football had said that playing less games had given them an advantage because they could spend more time preparing for certain games, with Hibs v Hearts I think both teams have had this game in mind for a while now and is probably why we have been poor, Hearts could have an advantage as they have had longer to look at Hibs and had longer to prepare for this game while Hibs haven’t had as many chances to watch Hearts,
what I am expecting from this game is a fast start by both teams, I think both teams will want to put down an early marker rather than starting slow and trying to figure each other out
