Inter Milan vs Spezia

Champions Inter will look to close the gap on both AC Milan and Napoli as they take on Spezia at the San Siro. Inter come into this in 3rd, four points off Napoli at the top, whereas Spezia are in 17th, just one point above the relegation zone.
Inter made it four wins from their last five in Serie A as they comfortably defeated Venezia 0-2 to help bring up Saturday’s double. Inter have only been defeated once in Serie A all season and are still unbeaten at home, winning 4/6. Inter have a superb record against sides in the bottom half, winning six and drawing one of their seven matches, scoring 20 goals. The Nerazzurri are currently the leagues top scorers with 34, and have scored at least twice in all nine of their Serie A victories.
Spezia conceded a late Marko Arnautović penalty last time out to lose 0-1 at home to Bologna, meaning It’s now just one win in their last six for Spezia, losing four. Only Cagliari have collected fewer points on their travels than Spezia, earning just four points from their seven away fixtures. All 11 of Spezia’s points have came against fellow bottom half sides, losing all seven against top half sides. No team has conceded more goals in Serie A than Thiago Motta’s side, with them conceding 32 goals, with 23 of them coming on their travels.
Feyenoord vs Heracles

Feyenoord will look to leapfrog PSV and close the gap on Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie as they host Heracles at De Kuip. The hosts currently lie in 3rd, but know a win will take them above PSV in 2nd and go just one point behind Ajax. The visitors lie in 14th and are just four points above the relegation playoff spot.
Feyenoord’s four game winning run in the Eredivisie was ended last time out as they drew 0-0 with European chasing Twente away from home. Feyenoord will be glad to be back at their De Kuip base, with them still unbeaten their in the Eredivisie, winning five of their six matches. Feyenoord have the second best defensive record in the league, conceding only 13 goals and keeping seven clean sheets in their 13 domestic matches. Seven of Feyenoord’s nine victories this term have seen fewer than five goals.
Heracles conceded a stoppage time own goal last time out to lose 1-0 away to Utrecht, to make it four defeats in their last six matches. Heracles have collected just a solitary point from their six away games this term, losing each of their last five. No side has scored fewer goals on their travels than Heracles, scoring just four times, with them failing to score in each of their last three. Six of Heracles seven defeats in the Eredivisie have saw fewer than four goals being scored.
Bet of the Day
Inter know they can, at least temporarily, go above rivals AC Milan and within one point of Napoli if they collect all three points at home to Spezia. The reigning champions come into this in good form, winning four of their last five Serie A matches, and I’m backing them to collect another three points over a struggling Spezia side. Inter are the top scorers in Serie A and with Thiago Motta’s Spezia having the leakiest defence, I’m backing the Nerazzurri to score at least twice in victory. Feyenoord know they can jump into 2nd place and go within one point of leaders Ajax with victory over Heracles at De Kuip. Feyenoord have been strong at home this season, winning five of their six matches and I’m backing them to defeat a Heracles side who’ve lost four of their last six in the league. Despite their lowly position, Heracles don’t tend to concede too many but they struggle to score goals and with seven of Feyenoord’s nine league victories seeing fewer than five goals, I’m happy to back a Feyenoord win and under 4.5 goals here.
