The Bundesliga’s form side Bayer Leverkusen will look to get one over their local rivals, as they host Köln at the BayArena. The hosts come into this in 3rd, whilst the visitors lie in 8th, five points outside the top-six.
After a comfortable 3-0 victory over Arminia Bielefeld, Bayer Leverkusen then drew 1-1 away to champions Bayern Munich, despite going a goal down. Gerardo Seoane’s side have won five of their last seven Bundesliga matches, scoring 22 goals in the process. After losing three of their opening five Bundesliga matches at the Bay Arena, Leverkusen are now unbeaten in each of their last seven there, winning five. Bayer have found the back of the net in all-bar one of their 25 league matches and are the Bundesliga’s joint-second highest-scorers, finding the back of the net on 64 occasions.
After drawing 1-1 away to bottom side Greuther Fürth, Köln failed to get back to winnings ways last time out, as they lost 0-1 against European-rivals Hoffenheim. Steffen Baumgart’s side have struggled on their travels so far this season, winning just two of their opening 12 matches (W2-D6-L4), with that record changing to W0-D1-L4 when coming up against the current top-six. Köln have recorded just three clean sheets from their opening 25 matches, with all three coming on home turf. The Billy Goats have conceding on 39 occasions so far this season, with 23 of those coming away from home.
Borussia Dortmund vs Arminia Bielefeld

Dortmund will look to close the gap on league leaders Bayern Munich, as they host struggling Arminia Bielefeld at Signal Iduna Park. The hosts are currently 10 points behind the reigning champions, but have two games in hand, whilst the visitors are 15th, just two points outside the relegation zone.
Due to the postponing of their last match with Covid-hit Mainz, Dortmund were last in Bundesliga action two weeks ago, where they could only draw away to relegation-threatened Augsburg 1-1. At home, Marco Rose’s side have been strong, with them W10-D0-L2, with both defeats coming against 1st-placed Bayern Munich and 3rd-placed Bayer Leverkusen. Dortmund have found the back of the net in all-bar one of their 24 Bundesliga matches, scoring on 64 occasions (joint-second highest). 39 of those goals have come on home turf, with Die Borussen scoring on multiple occasions in all 12 fixtures.
Arminia Bielefeld suffered a damaging defeat last time out, as they lost 0-1 at home to relegation-rivals Augsburg. Frank Kramer’s side have now just won one of their last six Bundesliga matches, with them losing three of their last five. Bielefeld have kept seven clean sheets so far this season, with just three of those coming on their travels. Die Arminen have conceding 16 goals away from home so far this season, with seven of those coming in their last four away trips.

Bayer Leverkusen have been the Bundesliga’s form side since the turn of the year and will look to collect another three points at home to local rivals Köln. Gerardo Seoane’s men hove found the back of the net 23 times in their last six Bundesliga fixtures at home and look a good bet to score at least twice against a Köln side that’s yet to keep a clean sheet on their travels this season and who have conceded 14 goals in their five matches away to the current top-six this season. Borussia Dortmund can close the gap to league leaders Bayern Munich to seven points with a win at home to struggling Arminia Bielefeld. Marco Rose’s side have won 10/12 at home this season, scoring on multiple occasions in all 12 and should score another brace at home to a Bielefeld side that’s lost three of their last four matches and who are just two points above the relegation zone.
