Monday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me focus on both the Swedish Allsvenskan and the Dutch Eerste Divisie. I’ve picked a selection from each league in which I fancy goals in to give us a nicely priced double.

Häcken vs Norrköping

🇸🇪 Allsvenskan

⏰ Monday 18th October, 18:00

Häcken host Norrköping at the Bravida Arena on Monday evening in the Allsvenskan. The hosts currently lie in 9th position on 29 points, whereas the visitors sit in 4th on 39.

Häcken defeated Örebro 1-2 last time out to extend their unbeaten run to four games. After losing their first three fixtures at home in the Allsvenskan, Häcken have not been beating since, winning four and drawing three. Häcken have scored in 19/22 Allsvenskan fixtures so far this season, scoring 33 goals. 19 of those goals have came in their home fixtures, in which they scored in all bar one. However, Häcken have also conceded in 19/22 fixtures, conceding on 32 occasions, with only four sides conceding more.

Norrköping come into this in great form with them unbeaten in their last six, winning five and scoring 16 times. Like their opponents, Norrköping have scored in 19/22 of their Allsvenskan matches, scoring 37 goals. Norrköping have kept clean sheets in 17/22 of their matches, with only two of them coming on the road. That includes conceding in each of their last six away games, conceding on nine occasions.

Volendam vs NAC Breda

🇳🇱 Eerste Divisie

⏰ Monday 18th October, 19:00

Volendam host NAC Breda at the Kras Stadion on Monday evening in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. The hosts sit a point and a place below Excelsior at the top of the table but know a win will take them top. The visitors sit in 14th position, four points outside the playoff spots.

Volendam come into this in superb form with them winning six of their last seven matches, scoring a whopping 23 goals. Volendam remain the only team in the division to score in all of their matches this season and are also the leagues top scorers, scoring 27 in just 10 matches. Volendam have scored multiple goals in eight of their 10 matches this season, including in each of their last seven games.

NAC come into off the back of successive victories at home to both Excelsior and AZ II. That now takes them to three wins so far this season however all of those victories came at home. NAC have drew two and lost three of their five away games, losing their last two. Only MVV have conceded more goals in the league this season, with NAC conceding on 12 occasions. NAC have conceded on multiple occasions in four of their five games on their travels.

Bet of the Day

Both Häcken and Norrköping are amongst the Allsvenskan’s highest scorers and come into this in good form. Both sides rarely fail to score but find clean sheets hard to come by, therefore I’m backing both sides to score. Volendam come into this in superb form and have the added incentive knowing they’ll go top with a win. They have been scoring goals for fun and should score at least twice against a NAC Breda side who have struggled on their travels so far this season.
