I'VE seen some good 4-11 bets in my time but here's a cracker from McBookie. That's their price on the Requisitioners winning the Rangers EGM vote next week.
The 4-11 is that Dave King and his supporters will gain more than 50 per cent of the votes and be installed to the board. It is 2-1 the current regime will win but everything points to them being deposed.
McBookie spokesman Paul Petrie said: “While the supporters will not be counting their chickens yet it does look like they will manage to defeat the board and there could finally be some good news coming out of Ibrox.”
The firm is also betting on whether Rangers will be promoted this year and offer 3-1 they will and 2-9 they won't.
It's 6-1 the race for the Premiership will go down to the final game of the season. Ahead of Sunday's meeting between top two Celtic and Aberdeen McBookie are offering 16-1 the title will be decided on goal difference.
Petrie added: “People are asking if Aberdeen are genuine title contenders and we will get a good chance to find out on Sunday. We believe they are putting up a good fight but in the end Celtic will win with a few games to go. Either way it will be more exciting than it has been in recent years.”
McBookie are giving all customers a risk-free fiver on the big game on Sunday – stake a fiver on any market and the bet will be refunded if it loses.
