BOOKIES were turned over many a time with the number of goals scored in England's top flight last season.
So we welcome back the return of Premier League football with open arms and hope for more of the same.
Several games shout out goals. Wolves lost 3-2 at home to Blackburn when the sides met on the final day of last season, Arsenal drew 4-4 at Newcastle and Liverpool have been leaking goals in pre-season while looking useful on the attack.
However, I'll ignore those three and start my line with Wigan v Norwich.
Wigan play the game the right way under Roberto Martinez and should score at least one against a promoted side who also like to attack.
Norwich have some weapons with the likes of Grant Holt, Steve Morison and James Vaughan but conceded 58 goals last season and will do well to start with a clean sheet. Both to score pays 4-5 at Skybet.
There were goals galore in the Championship last week and a lot of this weekend's games look promising. The one I'm plumping for is the clash between Portsmouth and new boys Brighton.
Pompey have been tipped to struggle but showed enough nous to fight back to draw 2-2 at Middlesbrough. Brighton bagged two late goals to beat Doncaster and should at least net at Fratton Park. Both teams to score pays 5-6 at Chandler.
In League One it's got to be Colchester v Wycombe. The sides drew 2-2 in the Carling Cup in midweek while Colchester hit four against Preston in their league opener.
Wycombe's last four games have featured both to score while Colchester's have produced 19. Don't let us down lads. Best price is 5-6 from Chandler and Skybet.
In League Two the stand-out for a goals rush is Burton v Shrewsbury. Burton's last five results have been score draws, including 3-3 after extra time at Burnley in midweek and 2-2 at Torquay last weekend.
Shrewsbury won 3-2 at Debry in midweek and drew 1-1 with Plymouth last weekend. They have netted some big numbers on the road in recent seasons and I like this at 5-6 with Chandler.
