THE NFL goes full steam ahead with a packed fixture list on Christmas Eve and Jordan has picked out a few player prop fancies.

There's also a handful of NBA games on Christmas Day, so feel free to add any of your own sporting tips and chat for the next couple of days.

Merry Christmas everyone and the next new post will be for Boxing Day.

Jordan's NFL Tips

Robert Kelly (Washington Redskins) Over 64.5 Rushing Yards @ 5-6 @ PP– 12 points

Ty Montgomery is a converted RB and shredded the Chicago Bears last week. The Bears have given up 100 yards and a TD to running backs in six straight weeks. Zub zero temperatures are expected again and I expect Washington to be the more motivated as they need a win to keep playoff hopes alive. Rob Kelly only saw 9 carries for 8 yards against a Panthers side who led most of the game, but did have 47 receiving yards. This week he should get more carries and his yardage is low considering star Tight End Jordan Reed is still nursing a shoulder injury and hasn’t practised yet this week.

Ty Montgomery (Green Bay Packers) Over 81.5 Rush and Receiving Yards @ 5-6 @ PP– 3 points

The Vikings were blown out last week at home by the Colts and surprisingly, most of the damage was done on the ground bu Gore and Turbin. The Vikings aren’t out of playoff contention yet, but need to win in Lambeau. AP is back but their o-line is a mess so the run game will be tough get going against a defense that has stopped the run well in their recent win streak. However passing defense is our main weakness but the cold weather won’t help Bradford, who has played in Green Bay before, but not in the Frozen Taundra.

Cameron Brate (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) Over 51.5 Receiving Yards @ 5-6 @ PP– 3 points

A big game in the NFC South see’s Tampa head to New Orleans. Tampa are still in with a shout of the playoffs, while New Orleans will be looking to try and even out their 6-8 record over the next two weeks. Drew Brees threw like he was at home last weekend in Arizona and will hard to beat at home, but yielding 41 points and winning isn’t the best strategy. Mike Evans has been held fairly quiet over the past couple of weeks (which includes a game against the Saints in Tampa) but they do have another threat at receiver in Tight End Cameron Brate. Brate has recorded 47+ receiving yards in the last 4 weeks and should get enough looks in the Superdome.

    NBA single

Andre Drummond (pistons) over 13.5 points PP 5/6 **WON** ✔ 15

I predicted 15 pts and 10+ rebounds on my write up- he got 9 rebounds so wasn’t far off..?..

Also mentioned zach Levine to get o21.5 pts and jabari Parker to get o20.5 who both covered easily..but hey only went for Drummond in the end….kicking myself a little..?

Well done all winners I know there are plenty tonight..?

    Timberwolves -2.5 (1st Half Spread) @ 1.86 – *WON*

    Pistons +8 @ 1.90 (PP) – *WON*

Hats off to Zach LaVine for making a 3 pointer at the end of the 2nd Quarter, taking the Timberwolves lead to 4 points.

And as I predicted the Timberwolves failed to close out the game with a poor 4th Quarter.. time and time again, its a serious issue.

Hats off also to Tobias Harris, 26 points off the bench for the Pistons after being dropped from the starting line up.. awesome. Pistons kept it close and fought hard throughout.. took the lead a number of times. Fair play, it was a good game to watch.

I might have a bet tomorrow, it depends if I have time, if I do I will post it… If not have a great Christmas everyone.

Rockets and Clippers done my 5 fold
    Clippers done my treble

Clippers beat at home, were 2 up going into the last minute then end up losing by 2
    Rockets beat twice this week!

Dissapointed with that as I was on a good run, was far too much chcoice tonight, my other fancies, Thunder, Magic, Bucks and Suns all won as well.

Anyway we can now look forward to Warriors @ Cavs tomorrow

I would like to wish the boys on this thread a merry Christmas, some great in depth previews into NBA matches. I have got more involved this season and tried to contribute when time has allowed. Have a good one, we will go into 2017 stronger and ready to make more profit.

A few more props for tonight.

    Todd Gurley (LA Rams) Anytime TD @ 13/10 @ Betfair/PP – 2.5 points

Gurley has had a down season compared to his previous rookie year. The whole Rams team in general has been poor and have handed the 49ers their only win of the season in a 28-0 shutout earlier on. Fast forward to now and neither side has had a season to remember, but this is a divisional game and the Rams have the added incentive of payback. The 49ers have given up 5 rushing TD’s over the past two weeks, 9 over the last four. Gurley is the clear goal line back and will get the redzone carries (if Jared Goff can get them that far down the field). At that price I’m willing to risk it. His 78.5 yards could be set to go over with PP too.

    Kenneth Farrow (San Diego Chargers) Over 57.5 Rushing Yards @ 5/6 @ PP/Betfair – 3 points

Melvin Gordon will sit again so Farrow is the number one choice to replace him despite his poor YPC in Gordon’s absence. He has an extremely favourable match-up this weekend though against a BRowns defense who have given up 356 yards in the past two weeks. 159 yards to McCoy last week and 1111 to Hill the week before. Farrow is nowhere near as talented as these two backs but should still get the majority of carries in the cold. I expect San Diego to win with the Browns looking terrible under RGIII and that should see more clock chewing late on for Farrow.

    • Jordan 7 years ago

Bumped that stake up to 5 points on Gurley. The Rams rushing TD percentage over their last three is 70%, 80% at home. All signs lead to a big day for Gurley. He says.

    • winnerallright 7 years ago

Jordan, u the man. i had a gud bet on both the Rob Kelley rushing yrds & T Gurley Anytime TD selections. Happy days. I really appreciate the time u spend researching the best betting options every nfl week. Have a great christmas mate

    Saracens v Newcastle

Undoubtedly Saracens will win this game but it might not be the walk in the park that the bookies predict. Newcastle have improved a lot recently and have three wins in their last 3 prem games. Can’t see them sticking more than 15 points on the board and Saracens might not run away with it.

Hey everyone, its your main man Max here yes I am back after a week away catching some winter sun, Did you miss me? I thought so. It was no tips last week but I am back with my first EVER Nap on the NFL and it is a cracker and a tasty price. My followers have been tucking into it since 4pm and it is still odds against.

Here are my Early game scorer and prop tips, and that NAP for you all
3 of my prop tips for the early games are RB’s who could have big outings. Murray will be looking to bounce back after a shocking week 15. A divisional matchup against the hapless Jags is just what the doctor ordered. He should cover 82.5yds 5/6 PP. Jordan Howard of the Bears as been one few bright spots in another disaster for the Browns, they host a Redskins side that have struggled against the run. Jonathan Stewart as 1+ ton carry and that was last week against the skins, oh and Howard has 4 straight ton plus games. He can cover 088.5yds 17/20 Ladbrokes

My last one is my old favourite Shady McCoy. Last time against Miami he was held to 11yds approx. and he was hurt in the 3rd and watched as London born Ayaji ran riot. That was in Florida, this is in the cold wet where I expect him to see plenty of carries and going well O86.5yds at William Hill. He is 11/10 to find the redzone and I make him my NAP to do just that.

My WR prop is Tyrell Williams to go O62.5yds at 17/20. The speedster as become Rivers favourite toy and again the only real bright spot for the Chargers. I remember when this lot used to make the postseason, anyway he going up against the Browns and they will do well to contain him all game, one deep ball could see him cover this is one.

    Anytime you like for Max

McCoy to score 11/10 (NAP 20PTS)
    Murray to score 10/11
    Blount to score 4/6
    (all at Skybet)

    Max’s prop tips

McCoy to score 11/10 (NAP 20PTS) WON BY 3RD QTR :-)

“He is 11/10 to find the redzone and I make him my NAP to do just that”.

I am off out not for some xmas drinks with the missus and friends. That NAP gives me a free shot at tonight for plenty of ££££ss. I suspect my followers up and down the country with be toasting me with a glass of mulled wine after this NAP :-)

I want to take this opportunity to wish all my followers and EVERYONE on this site a Merry Xmas and remember stay safe and bet well.

As promised here are my Late game tips including a tip for the Cinci v Houston game. I will start with this game and I think its hard to predict. Savage will start under centre after the 70M man Brock “cant throw” Osweiller was benched to cheers and Savage came in and led the Texans to a much needed win. The big news is Miller is OUT for Texans and AJ is OUT again for Cinci. I will be taking LaFell to cover his 41.5yds at 5/6 PP and to score at a big price. He is 11/4 Ladbrokes.

    MINCE PIES ALERT!!!!

If the bookies price up Alfred Blue around 70-85yds I would take OVERS!!!!!

I think it maybe a tight game so I am taking the Texans and the best Kicker in the league to nab O1.5fgs and am doing it as a single and as part of a double with the Oakland Raiders O1.5fgs. Derek Carr as a injured pinky on his throwing arm and will be playing in the gun he wont be fully effective. At the time of writing the Jags are beating the Titans and if that stays the same the Colts have a sniff and if they do then I expect a big game from Andrew Luck and will take him to go O260.5yds 10/11 Skybet.

A potential Xmas shootout could be on the cards in the Superdome and I am taking we see O44pts in a treble but my prop on this is Brandin Cooks 075.5yds at 17/20. He is 5yds higher than I would have liked but the bookies have reacted to him going off big time last week. I have had him in my notebook for this week so even 5yds higher than I like, I’m risking it as I can see 50+pts in the dome. Cooks is 11/10 anytime at Skybet and I complete my 3 scorer with David Johnson at 10/11 with the same firm.

    Anytime you like for Max

    Kenneth Farrow (San Diego Chargers) Over 57.5 Rushing Yards @ 5/6 @ PP/Betfair – 3 points **LOSE**

Profit and no bullsh*t to go along with it. One could learn a lot more from me on here….

Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs

Weather could play a big factor here with high winds and rain predicted. The Chiefs haven’t held running backs down too well and the Chiefs pass rush should see a big run attack from the Broncos. Justin Forsett has taken over the lead role over rookie Booker, and should get more touches. His yardage seems low for rush and receiving considering the Chiefs rushing defense, now without Derrick Johnson at MLB, and Justin Houston expected to miss time. Two key defensive players.

    Justin Forsett (Denver Broncos) Over 55.5 Rush & Receiving Yards @ 17/20 @ Ladbrokes – 4 points

    Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys

Matthew Stafford (Detroit Lions) Over 260.5 Passing Yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet – 5.5 points

Was in two minds here with Golden Tate seeing so many targets over the past few weeks, but Stafford
is carrying the Lions and needs a win here in Big D that would seal the NFC North. The Cowboys are through and have their first round bye in place, so starters may not see as much time, but they won’t take a loss at home to a conference rival that they could possibly play again in the post season. Expect Zeke to be ‘fed’ and Dallas to come out on top, but Stafford will need to air it out but with his ligament damage and special glove, he is limited. Still threw for 272 yards against the Jets. Golden Tate has seen double digit targets in his last three and his line of 66.5 is reasonable against a suspect secondary.
