This will be Josh Payne’s debut year at the world’s following a decent year on the circuit, the highlight of which being when he pushed Robert Thornton all the way in the Matchplay. His scoring is usually on point but I’m taking the experience of multiple finalist Jenkin’s here to edge it.

“The Demolition Man” Mark Webster has come into form at the right time displaying his talents in two TV events with a 5-0 whitewash of Taylor in the group stages of the Grand Slam and taking a very unexpected 6-0 lead against Van Gerwen before the world number one really stepped on the gas. He is playing with confidence at the moment and should present Bunting with a stern test. His checkout line is set at 100.5 and I fancy him to surpass it tonight as he has posted checkouts well above that value in the past.
Former soft tip player Reyes is a decent scorer but his doubling lets him down which is why I think Van Den Bergh will edge it. Last year Reyes hit four 180’s in a 3-1 defeat to Wes Newton at this same stage in the worlds and I think he can actually finish the match tonight with the higher 180 count because Van Den Bergh quite often switches down to the 19’s.
