Having taken a bit of a break over the last few weeks the time has come to get back on the case of those traders and hopefully get back to our winning ways.
There's a couple of games that take the eye today, both in the lower leagues of Norway, and both scheduled to be in-play with Bet365, though no odds are available as yet.
ALTA v ODD GRENLAND 2- Monday 5pm
Alta have started the season very strongly having recorded a 4-1 away win to Valdres in the opening league match and will be looking to quickly bounce back to the Norwegian 2nd tier that they were relegated from last season. During the Winter Series matches Alta were scoring for fun and kept this going with another four goals being scored in their Norwegian Cup game last week.
Odd Grenland 2 are a very young side this season and lost their opening match 2-1 at home to Raufoss. Odd's first team have a busy schedule coming up over the next few weeks so it is likely that they will continue with a youthful side today and not bring in fringe first team players. No team news available yet, but we will be keeping an eye out and post if they do strengthen up their squad for today's match.
VALARENGA 2 v IK BIRKEBEINEREN- Monday 6pm
This game was scheduled in the in-play diary of Bet365 last night but seems to have disappeared for now. This doesn't mean that it won't appear in-play so this is one to keep your eyes peeled for.
Valarenga 2 started their league campaign using a very youthful side and by winning 5-2 away from home to Traeff, somewhere that has proved a very difficult place to go in previous seasons. What makes this one interesting is that for today's game Valarenga have added SIX fringe first team players to their squad to supplement last week's youngsters.
Birkebeineren had a 2-1 win over Kvik Halden in the opening league match and followed that up with a 1-0 victory over Valdres in the Norwegian Cup so have had a decent start. They won both games against Valarenga 3-2 last season, which was their first playing at this level after promotion from the 4th tier.
